Spend an hour or two in this attractive, engaging museum that overlooks Lake Geneva and sports five lively oversized balls floating in a fountain at its entrance--made to bring to mind the five rings. Each room in this building offers insights and history behind the...More

3 floors to visit, the lowest floor is pretty quick to cover and is pretty boring. The upper floors covers a lot of the original Greek history, then moves on to the gentleman who resurrected the Olympique movement circa 1890. Tons of Olympic memorabilia that...More

This beautiful park surrounds the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. Before or after visiting the museum, be sure to walk the grounds and find the statues which are all around the museum, representing many sports. The main fountain at the front of the park is quite...More

Lovely to walk through the park, admire the sculptures and see the Olympic flame, as well as learn about previous Olympic cities, all without having to pay to go into the museum. Definitely worth doing and then going to the Tom Cafe inside the museum,...More

Did arrive on monday, and did not know the museum was closed! Did enjoy the garden and the scultures. The view to the lake and the mountains is great addition to relax here.

An easy walk from Ouchy, we spent several hours in this Olympic museum. So much to see based on the history of the Olympics.

An incredible collection of sports memorabilia all wrapped up into a multimedia interactive story. Enjoyed this so much that I went twice during my stay. Avoid the restaurant if you can - good food but rudeness from workers that let you know that they do...More

I like this park more than the museum itself. It has many cool things to see and toward the left of the museum there is a spacious green area where you can sit in the grass and relax.

Car parking at Parc Olympique Lyonnaise (12 Replies)
I am attending the Northern Ireland vs Ukraine match on 16th June and we are driving from Italy. Due to this we will need car parking facilities close by. I have looked online but can't find any useful information surrounding this topic. Does anyone know if there is car parking at the stadium? And if so can you book in advance and the cost of this? If not, is there parking close by? I've looked on Google maps and the stadium seems to be quite isolated from Lyon itself and we don't want to...More

Parc Olympique Lyon (0 Replies)
Question for anyone who might know about the stadium and parking. We're thinking of coming to a concert there and wanted to know is there parking, how difficult, how long will it take to get out after the show, etc. It looks like it's pretty complicated and slow...any advice? Thx!

Getting to Parc Olympique lyonnais stadium by tram questions (16 Replies)
As it seems, there are special match-day trams between Part Dieu and the stadium. I have several questions. 1. It seems that these trams are running from Gare Part Dieu - Villette tram station (East from the Gare), and NOT from Gare Part Dieu - Vivier Merle (West from the Gare). Is that correct? 2. Are the TCL day tickets (Liberté 1 jour) valid on these trams, or are there some special tickets/tarifs? 3. Is this a shuttle (point-to-point) tram line, or does it stop at stations...More
