The bridge over Gornera stream is a great fun and nice place for taking pictures of it's surroundings. There's nice kids playground nearby. The hike is not that difficult, from the church in Zermatt it's 4 km with 400m ascent, about 2 hrs one way....More

Our route didn’t originally take us over the bridge but we planned a stop at Randa from where we hiked up to the Charles Kuonen suspension bridge, and my was it worth it!

Originally we didn't plan to visit this place but then we decided it is going to be our "test bridge" before we hike to Charles Kuonen bridge in Randa. And I am happy we did! The Furi bridge is easy to get to, we took...More

Nice walk over, it feels a bit strange, especially if someone shakes it:)! Also good walk over in a rainy day (our case).

This destination is pretty much exactly what you think it is - a really big suspension bridge. It was awesome to walk across it and contemplate my mortality while looking down at the distant ground below - but you're completely safe inside the bridge. I...More

It's a two hour trek from Zermatt or just 16 well-signposted minutes from Furi cable car stop. It's a modern bridge - so no creaking planks underfoot - instead open grating (but don't panic - they are approx 1 inch, 30mm squares). It is basically...More

This is a little scary, but the bridge goes across the Gorner Gorge and offers a really cool view of the river/stream and the glacier runoff. The trail for the bridge was a little hard to find at first. Take the Furi gondola to the...More

I'm a sucker for hanging bridges and enjoyed this one as a sweet reward having hiked down the mountain. The views aren't anything out of the ordinary, but if you can work it into your visit, why not?

It's a longish pedestrian suspension bridge hanging over a gorge. Either you'll find it quite exciting, or not.
