We had a great time at the electronic clay pigeon shoot whilst we were in Zermatt. The instructor was very knowledgable and friendly and our youngest children were also able to participate. We liked it so much we came back the next day to try again and learn more. Overall a really nice experience with professional and friendly people and we would definitely come again.

The staff/owner was very friendly, and they are willing to take last minutes participant (if the time slot is not booked of course). Learn alot of great skill about shooting a shotgun. Best part is its safe for children as well, it doesn't use shotgun shell to count your hit, which is pretty cool, definitely you will have fun if you bring your friends along, and fight each other out to see who is the better shooter

Clay Shoot Zermatt is an excellent addition to the many things to do in town. It's easily located at the top of the Furi - directly across from the station. There is a comfortable large, white tent which shelters you from rain or sun, and the laser-shooting experience is completely safe.

I went with a couple friends and we really didn't know what to expect. Dizzy, the instructor, and Kirk, the owner, gave us a thorough overview of the operation and the competitive elements of the various games. Plastic clay pigeons reflect the laser shot, which automatically keeps score on an electronic scoreboard for you and your friends to see. Really made it a fun, competitive time and each person excelled in a different game.

Beautiful setting with several mountain restaurants within minutes of the Clay Shoot. Best of all, this can be done year-round and we intend to go back often when friends are in town. Zermatt has done it again with yet another amazing activity.

We had an absolute blast with Kirk and Dizzy!

Just a brief stroll from the Furi lift station, follow the signs down to the Clay Shoot Zermatt pavilion. The staff gave a brief review of the equipment and instructions. The shotguns have been converted into laser guns which simulate a shotgun blast, but it is completely safe with no recoil or loud report. The clay "pigeons" sense a hit or a miss and the results are immediately displayed on an electronic score board.

With brief instruction and a minute of practice, we all quickly got the hang of it, and then the real fun began. There were several rounds with different types of scoring for accuracy and speed. It was fun as an individual challenge and as a competition with friends.

The equipment was completely safe and very easy to handle. The absence of loud bangs made the experience fun and relaxing. With the location and beautiful scenery, the shooting can be combined with a hike and lunch at one of the amazing mountain restaurants. For the first half of the session, it was raining, but we were warm and dry in the shooting pavilion; so, it is also a good rainy day activity option.

In the end, it was a lot more fun than I anticipated. I think it is a fantastic addition to the arsenal of Zermatt activities, and I am anxious to return.

A great addition to the activities to do in Zermatt in a wonderful location, just metres away from the Furi cable car. Look for the big, white tent and follow the signs. My daughter & I were absolute beginners, but received excellent tuition, calmly and patiently delivered by a lovely Englishman (sorry, forgotten his name).
The clay pigeons are actually light weight plastic and the beautifully crafted Italian shot guns have been adapted to take lasers, so it's a very modern shooting experience. This means there's no recoil and no actual loading, making it easy even for children to master. After tuition and practice shots, you can choose how many games you want to play - and as it gets rather competitive you want to keep going! It was a fun way to spend an hour or so. It was a lovely sunny day when we went, but it is something you could do in the rain, as you're actually shooting from undercover in the tent. Five people can play at once, so great for groups and families. If you fancy a change from hiking and skiing, I'd recommend Clay Shoot Zermatt!

The best activity to do in Zermatt or if you're staying in a nearby town! We were a family of 5 and had no experience in shooting, so it's perfect for beginners. It's easily located by the Furi station. And the owner was quite friendly and professional.
We had such a fun time! Totally recommend and we'll definitely be back..

We really enjoyed our time at Clay shoot, Zermatt. We were a group of 3, and none of us had any experience in shooting. The person in-charge at the range made us comfortable and acquainted us with the shooting posture and technique quiet quickly. Finally, all of us were able to score more than we had anticipated. Not to mention, we enjoyed the evening.

My only suggestion for them is to use a secure payment gateway for taking booking confirmation instead of asking CC details over phone.

Hello, many thanks for your positive review and feedback about payment options. We are a small and relatively new business so do not yet have such a feature available on our website. We can assure you that card details are treated with utmost respect though and we will consider this option in the future. We hope to welcome you to the range again next time you are in Zermatt!

Our friends recommended this fun family activity after their family enjoyed it so much so we tried it too. It's really fun. We have never had any experience with shot guns but the instructions were clear and precise. Our family of four soon got into the very competitive mode of this laser shooting game! The guns are real but have been modified to shoot laser so it's safe. Give it a go if you are looking for some family fun time outside of skiing in Zermatt.
