Klein Matterhorn is best viewed from the panorama platform after the top end of the cable car up. Beautiful mountain with lots of snow to the right and steep mountain sides to the left.

Although expensive this is an experience that my husband and I would not have missed. Definitely a bucket list item. We went early in the morning and had a fabulously sunny day. It was fun going up the three cable cars/gondola and the views from the top of the Klein Matterhorn were breathtaking. On the viewing platform ( which is... More

Although both zermatt and cervinia are lacking difficult runs or in most cases even challenging reds, the snow up in the glacier paradise region and the snow Park, all nearly 2 miles of it, just put a constant smile on your face. You could ski the snow Park all day and not come down the same way twice.

It's an easy trip via a few trams or gondolas to the top and back, go early in the day because the last trams back are around 4 and it takes a bit to get up and you want to have time to enjoy the view once you get up. It's a little confusing about when you have to get... More

We went here from Zermatt and it's really a great way to enjoy the panoramic views of The Alps. The peak has an altitude of 3,883 m and you can reach it by taking the cable car that reach the highest point in Europe. The cable car station at Klein Matterhorn is a masterpiece but the tunnel carved in the... More

The ride to the top takes more than one cable car. The last one is the largest (150 people) and by far the most spectacular ride of all. Incredible ascend, docking station is wrapped to the top of the mountain at 3899mtr (take your time, take a deep breath or two!!) and a tunnel through the top of the mountain... More

Getting to the top takes quite a while, but it's definitely possible. This is the way you can go over to the Italian side but you must ski or snowboard to do this. If this is your plan, it is essential you do it early as the lifts close and you can get stuck on the Italian side. I must... More

Great ice museum with an ice slide, ice thrones, and many ice sculptures. Great observation platform. A chance to step into Italy or see the Swiss Ski Team practicing. The views of the Matterhorn were fantastic and up close.
