Thrill of hiking on a glacer

Great views of the surrounding mountains, towns (Zermatt looked like a life time away). Mountain climbing, hiking and skiing available activites in October.

There was nothing about this that spelt paradise. Granted, it was totally clouded over in terms of views which was disappointing (we went back the next day with views which were spectacular, but skipped the 'theme park') The exhibit itself was very sub par. Tacky lights, cold and wet, musty smelling - definitely not worth it.

A beautiful visit that leaves one with a sense of awe and wonder in the glory of Nature its Amazing Creator. Juxtaposes the verdant green of a Swiss mountain town with the stark reminder of melting glaciers. Coming from the desert, the children had a blast, playing in the snow in the middle of Summer. Zermatt is on our list... More

Take the trip up to see this! When it's clear and sun is out it's a spectacular place. We visited in June and they were still skiing.

Excellent place must go and spend time there. One can easily spend whole day. We enjoyed each and every moment at this place.

I came here with barely any skiing experience. However, I am pretty adventurous. We came in Oct when most of the slopes were closed and very few beginner slopes were open. I managed to ski the intermediate slopes from the top of Glacier Paradise and once I discovered I could control my pace on the steeper slopes I had a... More

I understood why they call it Glacier Paradise when I started walking into the carved ice tunnel and the ingenious ice sculptures started popping out at me from every corner nook and granny! All sculpted from natural ice and enhanced with LED lighting hues - furnishings, cars, signs, even a throne to mention but a few - sureal experience!
