The “Big trail” rated 8+ really should be rated by height and not age. My 8yr old is <125cm and had a hard time reaching her line and grasping hand holds. The issue is that once you start realizing that the first course is too intense for your child, there’s no way to clip off the line. We had to finish all 50 obstacles with my daughter saying “I hate this” the entire time. After finishing the green course, we tried the kids course rated for 4-7 and I can’t imagine a 4 or 5 yr old doing that course either. I think I saw at least 2 instances where smaller kids opted to turn around after starting the kids course. For teens and adults, this place is a blast. The staff were really nice and helpful at the start, but it would help to have them stationed at regular intervals for assistance. Or the first green course needs an option to clip off the line part way through if your little one changes their mind.…

We loved our time at the Forest Fun Park! Our two instructors, Bernardo and Sherry, were excellent. They helped us figure out which courses to start with to get comfortable and then which ones would challenge us. We spent many hours doing all the courses with our favorites being the blue and brown. :) If you have a couple of hours or more, definitely spend time here.…

Fantastic way to spend half a day for both adults and kids. A must do for anybody that goes to Zermatt looking for a little fun and adventure. Staff is A++. Make sure you have a beer and enjoy the scenery afterwards.

Hi there! Very happy to see your review! Also for the smallest ones the Kids trail is a lot of fun indeed, and a very good training for the big trails in a couple of years! We would love to see you and your daughter back in the park again soon, for some more outdoor adventures! All the best, Casper

The good side: it's in a very nice place and perhaps for older kids and adults it is a good experience. I cannot judge that. The instructor who helped us were also very nice. Here are the reasons why I rate the place as terrible: * they advertise that kids starting from 4 years old can do the kids trail. But the cables to hold on to are impossible to reach for a 4 year old. Even our 6-year old had troubles (~115cm in height). She could only do it while holding on to the father in most parts of the trails. So an adult is absolutely necessary for each kid which means the trail costs twice what they advertise. Our 4 year old started and soon gave up. The trails really are good starting from ~125cm height possibly. They should be fair and advertise it appropriately. * the food served which was on the barbecue was cold (probably food pre-heated from the previous day) and overly expensive for the quality. * on top of all when we were about to leave the guy who takes the pictures called us to buy their pictures. As soon as the kids saw their pictures they wanted. He offered to send the picture per e-mail, and guess what? The pictures never arrived. I was too naive and did not check it on the spot, only when we were leaving Zermatt a couple of hours later. 10CHF per picture! I wrote the fun park an e-mail asking to send the pictures again but of course no answer. In short: the place is a money drain. Total rip off.…

Sorry to see that you have decided to write a bad review about the Funpark. Every season we have tons of 4 year old children having a great time on the - specially designed Kidstrail. Of course there are also children who do not enjoy it (yet) or are still a bit scared, which is totally normal. Parents have to accompany the children on the trail according to our safety regulations. The reason described by you is exactly why parents have to join the smaller children. This has been made clear to you prior to buying the tickets, and is additionally written in the regulations. It is completely up to you to decide to go for it and purchase the tickets, or to wait a couple of years until the children can go alone. Therefore we are surprised to read the phrase - rip off- . This is not our intention at all, and differs quite a lot from our ordinary feedbacks. Your mail had already been redirected to the photographer and he has transferred the files again, please check your inbox. If you have further questions you can call us. We are reachable between 10.00 and 18.00. We thank you for your further feedback, and would be happy to welcome you again when the kids are able to go alone. Regards,
