The Matterhorn is magnificent and so are the walking trails around Zermatt, but we always include a trip to the Forest Fun Park. Forget Go Ape, this attraction has been imaginatively constructed in amongst the pine trees and over river tributaries and is designed to test all abilities. And if you do find yourself or your seven-year-old dangling from a zip wire, feel rest assured the highly experienced Park staff will be there swiftly to calmly winch you to safety. It's an amazing adrenalin rush, not to be missed.

My husband and I did the course today and it was amazing!! I have never done a ropes course or zip line before and it was so much fun. Courses do get more difficult as you go to each level, which was thoroughly explained by staff. Great cost of 35F each and we spent about 3 hours here!!

We walked to look at the park one evening after it was closed and it didn’t look very big or as if it would be very good, but looks can be deceiving! My husband and daughter went the next day and spent 3 hours having the best fun together. Our daughter is age nearly 14. They did all the different coloured courses. They have done other courses in Australia and England and they thought Zermatt was the best one. The setting by the river and the views adds an extra dimension to the experience. There’s lots of zip lines, some really long ones, which they said were really fun. The people who run the park are friendly. They have an on-site photographer who took some great photos. It’s definitely worth visiting this fun park.

I took my eight year old daughter around 2 of 5 “grownup” sections. I could see her confidence grow all the way around. Fun for adults also.
