Parc Aventure is the Swiss equivalent of Go Ape! and the one in Sion is located in an attractive forested park close to a lake so if you do this on a hot sunny day, as we did, you can cool off with a lovely swim in the lake afterwards. It is an excellent facility - with good safety briefings in English and then you are left to tackle whichever course is right for you. 4- 8 yr olds even have their own area - they are attached to a safety harness and can then go on their own course which they seemed to enjoy. Our children are older and we all found a level which was right for us, even 50 yr old mum who is known to be made of custard! there are 4 levels - yellow, blue, red and black and the blue one was a really good challenge. Lots of zip wires and all the while you can look up and see the mountains in the background. Would highly recommend for families with children of all ages.

I took my two children to the park and spent 3 hours watching them enjoying themselves aerial trekking. I felt the safety explanation at the beginning was very good and the children started on an easier section, gradually increasing the difficulty. They loved the zip wires. Parents have to watch their children at all times but there are conveniently situated benches so it's not too arduous. After we went and sat by the lake and watched the Cirque du Sion students practising on the tightrope across the lake.

The safety system is excellent in that there are two locks and you can only unlock one at a time. I was surprised that there were no helmets - perhaps they might consider this?

My son chose the Adventure Park for his birthday treat and it was a massive hit. The high wires are brilliantly done and can be very challenging. There are different levels for each ability and are far superior to the UK version. My children (13 & 16) would spend their entire holiday there!

Located in the "Iles" area outside Sion, it is easy access from the motorway. The Parc has a beautiful setting and is surrounded by mountains so the scenery is pretty nice. Unfortunately it borders a lake where there is also an active quarry with all the machinery and noises going with it. Got here for the tree climbing experience 2h before closing time only to find out that for some reason "today" they close at 5pm and therefore they don't take anyone new 1 hour before.... plus the toilets were closed! Looked like they wanted to go home early and could not be bothered to work. It s a bit of a treck to get here from Geneva so unless you live in Vevey/Montreux I would avoid this place.

Great place for a day out - take picnic and spend the rest of the day by the lake. Plenty of other stuff to do such as tennis and swimming.

Great Place for families groups and coupels - great friendly staff - as an High Rope Instructor I called before that I am comming with a small group of childern due their parents asked me if I could attend and escort "safety first" for security their kids. As a high rope trainer and Instructor I normally do not have to pay for my escort and accompany they because I do/get it for free. Unfortunately the big boss was not there and busy...but the Dutch cashier Helen promised to call her boss later. So we get a great friendly instruction (see pictures) and I escort the kids and had only to make 2 small rescue and one kid for security reasons to send down the security exit. This parc is much fun and the kids loved it and for me the first time here...one of the most checked and in shape and well maintained park I saw and checked in Switzerland: So 10Points out of 10. Or here 5. I RECOMMEND THIS PARK to ALL ACTIVE persons groups families and couples for team building and fun. Finally the parents paid for me but I got back a voucher which I gave to the parent which paid. Thank you Helen and as said you are always welcome as a guest for free in one of my Free Spirit Locations worldwide which I wrote you down. René High Rope Trainer, Ski and Scuba Divin Instructor...Aug.2022👍🥰check passed 100%

Some awesome climbing and zip lines in the trees in a really nice location by the lake. My 6 year old absolutely loves it here and the staff are always super helpful and friendly. There are more challenging routes for older children and adults too. Great place to spend a couple of hours. Highly recommended.

Hello Jehudam2017, Thanks for your feedback. Sorry to hear that you were bored as a parent. It is true that we do not offer a child care system... We provide infrastructures and equipment but young adventurers should always been supervised by an adult when tree climbing. On our side, supervision is done from the ground by operators who can intervene at any time, should you need some help... As regards the size of the place, note that Parc Aventure Sion is the biggest park in Valais... Three kid courses have been designed for children aged 4 to 7, where the small apprentices are tied to the security cable from start to finish. From 8 years of age and above, they have access to 8 different courses, all equipped with an auto-securing system. On these 8 courses, adults can enjoy climbing too... Best regards.
