A very beautiful walk up, and a nice view on the city. Totally worth it, even more for historically interested people.

The castle and the church are beautiful and the staff nice. We however stopped also in the cafeteria where we were charged an outrageous price for a shabby sandwich (served after more than 30 minutes). Also, paying in euro is possible if you don't mind being cheated with the conversion: the had me to pay as if the euro was... More

Nice fortress. Lots of displays. A good mixture of interesting and pretty. Staff very nice. Views excellent. People in wheelchairs or with walking aids better not visit, it is not accessible enough.

I have never seen something old and beutifull like this before. Thanks to a friend of mine who took me to this amazing place in the summer of 2009.

Highly recommended for all medieval history and architecture loves to visit this attraction. Full top-hill fortress structures are retained, entrance gates and narrow courtyard, walls and towers. Fantastic view on the valley, the castle on the opposite hill and all Sion town under your foots. But most impression is the church, very old (11 century) and looking in the original... More

The Church fortress walls are under construction (facade renovation). Next to church is a museum (small entry fee) that offers a fabulous insight into the history of the Bishops city of Sion and its tradition. Great treasures exposed and also some good paintings by regional artists. Make sure you wear solid shoes, no high heels. A Car Park called Planta... More

It can be a bit of a walk to get up to here from the town, but I thought it was worth it. The views of Tourbillon castle on the next hill are unparalleled! There is not much to see inside the fortified church itself, just a small museum which gives you more opportunity to explore a bit. We ate... More

This Church is beautiful. Even if have to climb The Hill to see it, the experience is nice. The view is amazing from there and you can rest on the hill, having a pic nic or just enjoying the view.
