Foreword: We arrived "walking" in front of the casino and , albeit in short pants and sandals, they let us in. Obviously we stayed in the slots zone without advancing too far. We tried a few plays without winnings. The environment seemed pleasant to us absolutely unequivocal. The staff a little guarded but , if not kind, certainly courteous.

Had read a few reviews before heading to casino di Lugano, and was a little surprised with other people’s reviews. I’ll keep this short so I’ll write down points below.
Very nice location.
3 stories / floors.
Separate floor for smokers.
Relatively small casino.
Couple of tables for blackjack only. ( my game of choice)
Not crowded at all when I went, weekday early evening.
Clean.
Love the fact that you have the choice to gamble with euros or francs. And you can cash out in euros or francs as well. Very convenient.
Played for a few hours. I read in other reviews stuff like very high security, very rude staff (not true in my experience).
Secure place but no extra ordinary than any other casino. Staff had poker faces, so they weren’t extra nice let say, but definitely wouldn’t call them rude. After playing for a few hours and breaking the ice with small conversations it’s clear all staff members are polite and can be nice.
Played with a few hundred Euros only. Went there to spend some time having fun, and I did have fun. Overall good casino experience !!!

I was just visiting - sunday evening 8 p.m.: Only one regular Black Jack table was opened, even though that one was totally full. Croupiers were snippy (as we know it from Italian casinos) and the atmosphere has changed a lot to the worse since they rebuilt the interior. Not recommended!

Lugano Casino is not just small and not attractive but the staff are also not welcoming and very rude. From the start of your arrival to the casino, if you are arriving by car, you will first meet the
so called 'valet service' that is not worthy of being called so. It is the worst offered service. The people taking your car are RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and ARROGANT. They do not know how to treat visitors and most of all answer back in the worst way possible. This being your first encounter leads the visitor to enter the building already in a bad mood or just leave the entire place. Also, to top that, the casino itself is not that great, and the service inside is extremely slow. Not worthy of your time!!

After reading the reviews i expected the worst, but it was actually pretty good. The staff was kind, it wasn't too crowded when I was there (around 10 pm).
The minimum on the blackjack is 10 CHF.
There's also a dance bar / club right next to the casino.

in a competition for the most ugly building in Lugano, the casino would definitely rank among the first. and inside it does not offer much more, if you are not a hard-core gambler that is only interested in the fast money - or the way to loose your money fast.

The staff at this casino is very rude. The service is extremely bad and they behave very unsocial.
I highly recommend not to go to this casino. Spend your time and money somewhere else.

Probably this is my problem, but I find casinos quite depressing. This place in particular is devoid of the old fashioned style which can be found in classic european casinos, such as Monte Carlo or Sanremo. It is very dry, and it could be Las Vegas. If you like this type of experience, please go ahead.

Denied entry just because I dont have surname. Rude, incompetent and arrogant staff (the supervisor). When asked about whats the problem with no surname, they couldnt answer.
