Parco Ciani is one of those parks where you can spend a nice time without the city rush and crowds. The park is located on the lake where you can see Lago di Lugano. There are open spaces and well-shaded ones where you can hide during hot weather. Additionally, on hot days, the stuffy air does not stay in this place due to the gentle wind from the lake. There is a place to sit - a bench, grass, a wall or a pier by the lake. It is colorful due to the numerous flower beds. Very good access - close to various places of public transport on foot or by car (public underground parking right next to it). At the entrance to the park and in the vicinity there are several cafes where you can buy ice cream and drinks. A great place to relax solo, in a group or have a date.

The park itself is really very beautiful, well-kept flowerbeds, zero rubbish on the ground, lots of nice people and youth. If you are a little lucky, you also have the chance to enjoy an exhibition inside the villa from which the park takes its name. At the end you arrive at a playground where children can have some fun, and further on you arrive at the mouth of the Cassarate river, with the possibility of having a drink at the bar. But now unfortunately comes the sore point. We parked the car in the nearby car park, and upon entering through the gate we immediately come across an isolated bench frequented by many junkies. And unfortunately I witnessed unmistakable scenes. I received further confirmation from a resident of the city to whom I asked for more information on the matter. Too bad... A bad business card for this wonderful park

Parco Ciani is a green lung in Lugano, a place to relax while looking at the beauty of the lake with the sun's rays to keep you warm.
With many beautiful and colorful flowers, the park is very well kept and clean. You can sit on the many benches facing the lake or located in the park. Also worth visiting for a photo is the gate of Parco Ciani, symbol of Lugano.

Small but well-kept park (Villa with large garden around so to speak).
In good weather you can sit and relax and, perhaps, venture a dip in the lake. Perhaps there is some internal refreshment point missing.

Parco Ciani is located by the lake, very close to the casino. We visited the park right after Christmas for a night walk and we felt as we were in a fairytale. Christmas lights in the trees and through the paves show the road and make it easier to stroll around in the park during the night. It was very romantic and what impressed us is the clean and very well maintained nature!

We have been to Lugano just for one night, as a stop in the middle of our road trip. The park was very lively since there was an interesting music festival. It stretches all along the lake, it’s very clean and beautiful. Very good first impression, we’ll surely come back!

A lively park near the lake in the center of the city Lugano. Its near to Piazzo de Congressi. About 20 mins far from Lugano station. It has amazing natural beauty. One can take walk with fresh mind. Children can be found playing. Unique trees can be seen.

Ciani park is a true green lung in the heart of Lugano!
The park is really large, pleasant to walk through and full of beauty: the flowers and gardens always well cared for, the artistic installations at various times of the year and the musical and/or theatrical events that are held periodically!
If you follow it all the way you will reach the mouth of the Cassarate river, where the area dedicated to sports and children is located! Furthermore there are places where you can drink and eat.
Mandatory stop for anyone passing through Lugano!

Small park with different essences of trees. Just in front of the lake.
You can find place to seat, play volleyball or just hear music.
Nice after a diner to spend around some minute.
