We visited the park today and if was in full bloom. We also visited the exhibition at the castle as part of a joint ticket. Both places did not disappoint! Not to miss!!

They look like roses but they are not. Those flowers come from Japan and every bush in the garden is of different color! Takes about 20 minutes to explore the park and it's free!

Parco delle Camelie is a small garden on the shores of Lake Maggiore. It has a few flowering trees and plants (not only camellias) and small pond. It's a great place to spend an hour enjoying the nature and then the lake's beach is just nearby.

Parco delle Camelle is one of the nicest to visit in Locarno, near the lake, wondeful view to the mountains, The camelle flowers so nice as the roses , so magnificient, a real magnetsm for me; the tropic clima of Locarno is excellent for this nice flowers, there are bushs, shrubs, and high Camelle trees, plenty of flowers, a real fantastc painting, transfer me in deamings. This park merit absolute a visit.

This little hidden garden is simply beautiful! Ideal to read a book or just relax there. Its next to the lake and an open beach, so you can visit it on your way there or back!

Stopped by while visiting Locarno for the camellia show. Pretty location near the lake with a great view. Many different kinds of camellias to admire. Worth a trip.

One of the most important Camellia Shows in Europe. With over 250 variations. Take a peaceful walk through this amazing park, stop and sit on one of the wooden benches and just take in the beautiful panorama of Lago Maggiore.
