Lido Locarno is a unique oasis for recreation, sport and well-being.Its hot spring, swimming pool, water slides and play pools make it the best equipped stateof-the-art aquatic park in Ticino. Indoor and outdoor pools are open throughout the year and are located on one of the most beautiful beaches of Lake Maggiore, surrounded by a dramatic alpine scenery on one side and the magnificent lake on the other. Visitors can swim, relax and have fun in the pool and lose themselves in the lake's tranquility.

Great, spacious lido with indoor and outdoor facilities. Outside there’s a 50m lane swimming pool, several fun pools/jacuzzi, flume, boards and lots of space to enjoy the lake shore and swimming.
Very well managed and popular, accessible by bus from the city centre, a great chill day out.

The best place for relaxing.

Wasn't bad weather but on the last day in this area before heading back to Zurich, spent some hours in Lido.
Complete facilities with a stunning view you can enjoy from the swimming pool.
I enjoy all the facilities, Sauna, swimming pool, steam room and the cafe.

We spent an afternoon here with our two boys, ages 13 and 10. The facility was clean and the staff were so helpful. This was one of our favorite spots on our weeklong trip to Switzerland. The kids loved the water slides. The views are stunning from the outdoor heated pool. My son asked me “is this even real?” more than once. I’d go back in a heartbeat. Excellent value, too. We did forget towels, so I would recommend bringing your own. A perfect way to spend time together as a family.

Good place to enjoy sunny days. Clean, safe, good staff and a just few minutes from the center(walking distance). If you want to go swimming it is really recommend!

Too Expensive and dirty

Today we went to the Lido. The entry for a swiss swimming bath was unbelivable expensiv (CHF 13.-). The pool was overcrowded and there was rubbish everywhere on the floor. The staff was friendly.
I'll never come back - I'll go instead on the free public swimming bath right from the Lido with no pools but the lake!

Dear Travelfa2, thank you so much for your visit to Lido Locarno. We are sorry to hear that you deem the entrance fee to be too expensive and we are also quite surprised to hear so since Lido Locarno, during the summer, offers 7 pools: if you compare Lido Locarno to similar structures (Swiss and international) we think that 13 CHF is a very competitive price. We are also sorry that the place was crowded, but the summer is our busiest time of the year. Around the pools there are plenty of large grass and beach patches and we are sure that you will always be able to find a quiet spot. Warm greetings, Lido Locarno

we meet up almost every wednesday. first we swim 1K or so. then we go outside in the thermal pool to do some girl talk and relax in the sun. if we have time, we'll have a cuppa. my teenage sons go often with friends. they enjoy the slides. they come home w/strained muscles from running up the stairs. good weather, bad weather, go and relax!

Very spacious lido with easy entrance in the lake. Water is clear and transparent. Herbal floor; the entrance in water is a mix of sand and small stones; no special shoes needed.

Once your over the price...

We had a lovely day at this Lido. The facilities are excellent, the pools are great. Slides are good fun and there is plenty of space for everyone. The only downside is the price - which we found expensive - but then again, your in Switzerland and everything is expensive!

This is a perfect place to spend a day with the family. Clean and relaxing for adults with a lot of fun for children. Cost very reasinable with the family ticket 2 adults+ one or teo children. Jacuzzo swimming pools lake and other attractions

This Lido is super nice as it offer an super good location, and a stunning view of the mountains of Locarno. Its good as its an indoor pool that you can use when its a bit worser weather yet you still have the idea you are in a mountain place!
