Monte San Giorgio is a must for fossil enthusiasts. It isn’t known as Dinosaur Mountain for nothing. The great views also make it worth a visit.

Beautiful sights, nice breezy forest, well-marked hiking trails, funicular to the middle of the mountain and a lovely restaurant from which you can enjoy the views over the lake. A lovely place to visit. Make sure to see museum in Meride.
