About
The Berry Museum, housed in the century-old Villa Arona in the heart of St. Moritz, is dedicated to the doctor and painter Peter Robert Berry II (1864 – 1942). In the course of forty years, hundreds of compositions are created in charcoal, pastel and oil, from miniatures to impressive winter panoramas. The complete oeuvre, including music, poems and philosophical essays is preserved at the Berry Museum. High-resolution digital imaging allows for phenomenal perspectives.

Never heard of Berry until i arrived in Saint Moritz. I went there ona rainy day and i have to say was a great decision
I was very impressed with the paintings. Most of them are winter scenes from around Saint Moritz area.
Stuff there was friendly and you also have a locker if you wanna deposit your jacket or bagpack.

We visited this museum on a rainy day in St. Moritz. Before our visit, I knew nothing of Dr. Berry. His artwork, which is over 100 years old is absolutely amazing. His use of light and color were brilliant. I highly recommend this museum for any art lover; you will not be disappointed.

This is a museum of the art of Peter Berry. It is run by his grandson who has collected his grandfather's part and made this wonderful museum. I really enjoyed the art. There are many fabulous pieces including scenes of the Engadin valley, self-portrait, etc. I also enjoyed very much the audio guide because it provided a lot of insight into the artist. I highly recommend this small, but fabulous museum.

Dr Berry was a fine painter in the style of Segantini and Hodler, but not quite as good as either which is why few have heard of him outside St. Moritz. The Museum, opened only a few years ago, is a gem, in an old villa next to Klinik Gut. The painter's great-grandson showed us round (the Museum attracts few visitors), we were the only visitors when we went. The Pictures are well lit and the audio guide is far better than many at much more prestigious Museums. Well worth a visit!

We were welcomed by the grandson of the painter who then gave us a brief to tour of the museum. We loved the art and look forward to another.

Very well done small museum. In the center of St Moritz, it is a great way to spend an hour ... seeing some wonderful paintings that fit so well into the Engadine Valley and getting a flavour of how things were back then.

Expecting to find information and exhibits on soft fruits we were delighted to discover instead the works of a painter we had never heard of before. The museum is compact and charming and the audio guide so useful.
