Easy walking

A, generally flat walk around the lake with lovely views which takes a couple of hours at an easy pace. We always do this walk when we stay in the town.

Had drinks and lunch a three times during our stay. It is si friendly. Food excellent..try their potato salad. Views of the lake early morning are fantastic and noticed a yoga class at the end of the little wooden pier. This lovely restaurant is on the wall from pontresina to St moritz.

It's a nice small lake, which gets warmer at the end of the summer, so if you wanna have a swim but you find the St. Moritzersee too cold, just take a 15min walk and enjoy this lake. You will find a restaurant by the lake too. Ideal with kids too!

This small lake is situated in the forest between St Moritz and Pontresina. Although accessible from both places we approached it from the end of the Lake of St. Moritz near the train station. A slightly upward, push-chair friendly path leads through the trees to this enchanting alpine lake. This was the first such lake in which I had a... More

This is just a lake you pass on the walk between Pontresina and St Moritz. Easily accessible from both, but nothing extraordinary, the walk's the thing. The walk is easy and pleasant.

The lake is rather small but beautiful it is too small for water sports but the view is grand. The two alternative routes to the lake to and from the main s moritz lake lead you through a magnificent forest up and down a mountain slope in one case and quite a flat walking path in the other Just few... This Lake is such a beauty, particularly when frozen in the winter! However what is amazing is the surrounding town of St. Moritz, with the beautiful statues and fountains! Worth a return visit definitely!

Summer, Autumn, Winter or Spring. It is a really beautifully place. The lake is one of the smallest in this region, but easy to achieve per feet. A shuttle bus is offered too. The lake is warm in the summer time for swimming, and the location offers boxes for changing the clothes. A kiosk is close to the lake, a... More
