Cost was reasonable at 9 fr and parking was easy and plentiful the day we went. We went around 10:00 am on a rainy weekday. The walk also was not very crowded at that time and we felt a few times that we had the...More

Well worth the visit! Impressive! We visited early in the morning on a weekday, it was not crowded at all. Our visit started on the Meiringen side, which I think is the easiest way to go. Some low ceilings in parts of the tunnel, so...More

We went on a Saturday, late morning: probably not ideal. It had rained hard in the early part of the dayx which had probably lessened the crowds. The start from the East end begins with a long flight of easy steps folloed by an equally...More

We had a day of rain and decided to come here. You still get wet so you still need that raincoat, but there are periods of cover. We did it with a bunch of kids who all managed it fine. The first half (coming from...More

We did Reichenbach and A are gorge comfortably in one day. It does take about 2 hours to walk the Aare gorge but this leaves no time for lòking at the sights and I treating points along the way.
