Breathtaking !

We were waiting for our train to Jungfraujoch at Kleine Scheidegg for 3 hours. We didn't feel bored at all because of the scenic view and we took so many pictures there!

We took train from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen, Gondola to Mannlichen, then hike to Klein Scheidegg train station and took train back to Lauterbrunnen. The hike is easy - pretty much flat and it is very popular. It is good idea to check weather and webcam before you decided to go up there. We had a wonderful weather and flowers blooming... More

Kleine Schedigg was an hour pitstop before our next train to Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in the world. This is the perfect stop for anyone wanting to start their hiking, or biking journey close to the Jungfrau mountain trio. It has several trails leading up to the mountains with beautiful views of the surrounding Jungfrau. It also has a... More

We took the cable car to Maennlichen, and then hiked towards Kleine Scheidegg. It was a cloudy day, so we didn't enjoy the single most important thing in the hike - the snowcapped mountain scenery. Without it, the trail itself is not very interesting. Luckily enough, when we got to Kleine Scheidegg the clouds dispersed a little, so we did... More

There is a beautiful paved trail that starts at the train station in Kleine Scheidegg and ends in Wengen. It's an easy detour when descending from the Jungfraujoch, as you can catch the train again at the next 3 stations. For the first 10 minutes, you walk parallel to Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau and the views are just incredible. It's... More

We rode on the Jungfraubahn which is a train that runs to the highest rail station in Europe. We disembarked at Kleine Sheidegg and witnessed views of the amazing surroundings which were nearly 7,000 feet. It was a sunny day and there was still snow on the ground which made it feel just like I pictured the mountains. It was... More

WOW is all I can say. If you come to this part of Switzerland this area is a must. We took the train up and had lunch overlooking the three major peaks of Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau peaks. Beautiful villages to see along the way.

Visiting the Jungfrau, make a point of going via Grimwald either on the ascent or return journey. But the stop at Kleine Scheidegg gives a good vantage point to ski in either direction or just to enjoy the views. A few outlets to spend your Swiss Francs. One shop does sell camera "Memory cards" should you run out of space... More

My family and I had such a lovely time traveling on the train and having lunch at the top. It wasn't very crowded when we were there. The views were spectacular.

My husband and I visited Jungfraujoch, Top of Europe on our honeymoon. We both love skiing so where else but in Switzerland. It was kind of crowded when we went during the Christmas/New Year time. The jungfrau railway was so crowded at some stages we were crammed in like sardines because the railway only came like every half hour. If... More
