Changeover to Jungfrouch happens at this place. A good number of hiking treks can start or end as well on way to Jungfrouch. Station has couple of cafes and restuarants to relax and enjoy nature.

We stopped longer than previously to enjoy Kleine Scheidegg for itself. Had a relaxing coffee and sat in the September subshine enjoying the magnificent mountain views.

The hike from Mannlichen to Kleine Scheidegg is amazing. Easy hike but then you can say you hiked the Alps of Switzerland. The Jugen Frou views were phenomenal with the Eiger in the forefront. Seems you can reach out to touch the glaciers.

Definitely check the weather before going to Kleine Scheidegg the weather changes so frequently. We went to Kleine Scheidegg from lauterbrunnen, Simply walk around, stop and observe the beauty of Nature.

Both are excellent choices, on two sides of a valley. If you are thinking in terms of money, the Schilthorn is very inexpensive - whether you leave from Muerren or Gimmelwald. And, from that side of the valley, you have an... More

Hi there may not be snow there in July but your daughter will be ok. You can always email the tourist information office in Interlaken if you have any concerns. Hope this helps.
