Not being one who has ever been skiing, I have never experienced being so high up in the mountains, surrounded by snow and a gloriously blue sky. The views were amazing and it is an experience that will remain with me for the rest of...More

Awesome place. You can see the biggest glacier of the Alps. You can start a nice ski slope run (blue one, hence easy) and you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Alps at the border to Italy, with the Matterhorn at some distance)....More

Came here and weather report from below was shoddy. Looked up and saw ominous clouds. Decided to risk it and go up on the gondola (which was really expensive). We were a bit upset because we drove all the way to Switzerland to see this...More

Hiked from Bettmerlap to Bettmersee from the path in parallel to the glacier. Beautiful view. Took around 6 hours including long breaks and taking pictures

Get here early and enjoy the peace before the crowds arrive. Truly breathtaking scenery. We could hardly see anything on the gondola up from Betten (very cloudy!) but it cleared as we got into Bettmeralp.

The glacier is beautiful from the observation area, but to experience it much better hike the easy path over to Fiesch cable station. Takes about 4 hours, don't take the tunnel, you miss a very pretty section.

From the top of the Eggishorn in Fiesch or if you like a bit of a hike, take the cable train in Ried-Morel to Riederalp, after a 10 minute walk you get on another cabletrain called the "moosfluh" with blue windshields. At the top you...More

Good view of the glacier from Jungfrau. Air is thin so little difficulty in walking. But worth to spend time there.

High on the Top of the World you can see the wonderful glacier below and marvel at the surrounding mountains. Beautiful.
