Fantastic and exhausting day climbing, balancing and zip lining. Family (adults + kids aged 11, 13) visited in August, but was quiet enough not to have any queues or waiting. Helpful staff, great layout of 9 different courses of varied difficulties from easy balance to terrifying scramble. Great equipment meant that I felt totally safe at all times, and I'm not normally great with heights. Planned to go for a long morning, but we spent over 5 1/2 hours until we were finally tired out. Wished we had brought a picnic. So much better than similar ropes parks in the UK.

Excellent adventure ropes course. As a family we really enjoyed our time and ended up staying 4 hours. They have lots of picnic tables to eat at. There is even a community fire to grill brats. My youngest is 7 and met the height requirement for 8 courses and they were all fabulous. Lots of zip lines and enough adventure for mom too! Creates critical thinking skills for the kids to figure out solutions on their own and I really liked the “clamp” system they have for best in safety as you are never on a rope course not secured in properly. Bring a picnic, wear long shirts to go under the harness and bring water.

Most underrated activity in Interlaken..!!

I went there twice in 2 consecutive day..!! It was that fun for both myself, wife and my son.

Initially i thought its a small park for kids, so i thought of spending half day for my 5 year old kid to enjoy. He enjoyed it to the fullest.

Didnt really realised its a full day activity where even adults can also enjoy to the fullest. Unfortunately we got only half day next day as we planned another activity in the morning time.

Adult courses were really fun and needs good physique. My son enjoyed the 3 courses he can do (I guess its snowly).

Definitely recommend to spend one full day with family. Worth spendin g the money and time

Our daughter enjoyed the park very much. She loved the long slides and there is a trail with 8 of them. Many different trails and easy ones to start with. It is rather expensive, but worthwhile if you stay 3-4 hours.

What an experience - definitely don't miss this if in Interlaken.

I appreciated that they trained each individual and made sure we had all understood the rules including the children. It would have been better if they had a coffee shop for the ones who didn't want to do it.

Its expensive so to make the most of it be prepared to spend a few hours.

Awesome, thanks for your review! Yeah, the best way to enjoy the Seilpark to the fullest is, to keep a half day free in your calendar and explore all of those routes 😊🙌🏻

Seilpark Interlaken is an amazing forest adventure park. We had visited this place on our last day of our Europe Trip with just 4 hours to spare. Have to say, it was the best 4 hours we had spent and the perfect climax to our Europe Trip. The park opens at 10AM in the morning and the Entry Fee for Adults is CHF37. The park is walkable distance from the Interlaken West Railway Station, less than 1Km (When you come out of the Railway Station take right and keep walking for half a kilometer when you will reach a road junction, go straight and you will clearly get into a forest area where Seilpark Sign boards will direct you to the park). The staff at the park are very friendly and helpful, they will first give you a very detailed training on their training course on how to use the gear and how to go on the zip line. After that you are on your own.

There are 8 challenge courses of varying difficulty, of which 3 courses are for children. Adults can start with the Grasshopper which is designed for beginners then take up the difficulty challenges one by one. If you are an expert, agile and with good balance you could finish every challenge in less than 3 hours. Otherwise its better to give yourself a window of 4 to 5 hours to complete all the challenges. There are no prizes for finishing first, so be careful and take your time to finish it. I really liked the Fox (Flying Fox) course, 90% of it is zip lines at 280m above the ground and totally fun. The Squirrel is an intermediate challenge while the Woodpecker and the Eagle couses are very difficult. It was thrilling to do the zip lining, balancing, climbing and crawling. Don't think I had so much fun in my life. Perfect fun place for adventure seeking people, teenagers and families.

We went to this park on a rainy Sunday. Because its forested, the courses weren't to bad. Spent the first 15 mins doing equipment check and then a demonstration course and then we were left to explore on our own. It was terrifying to do the higher course (20m) and it took a lot if work but the experience was fun and challenging and well worth the 37CHF for a full days activity in Switzerland.

Seilpark Interlaken is a fun and challenging ropes course. The course itself was great. HOWEVER, in middle of my climb, a thunderstorm began. Within a few minutes, there was heavy lightning crackling just above my head. During a lightning storm, standing at the top of a tree is probably the worst place you can stand. It was a very scary experience. The staff did absolutely nothing. They did not help us come down nor did they check up on us to see if were ok. In fact, many of them started to leave. I was left up there all alone while pouring rain, thunder and lighting continued to go on. Finally, I called for help in the hopes standing on firm ground while waiting for the storm to pass. I was told that there was no way to go down in middle of the course, i would have no choice but to finish the entire 1-hour long course in order to get down. That is a HUGE SAFETY HAZARD. What if kids get stuck up there? What if lightning actually hits? I hope Seilpark Interlaken will fix up this issue because it otherwise is an awesome ropes course.

Dear Frindlerta, We are sorry that you didn't feel safe in our Ropes Park, but please understand that you were at no time in any danger. Safety is our first priority and we are audited annually on all safety protocols by Safety in Adventures. According to these protocols, our staff monitor the weather using radar software and will close the park if there is any risk. The mountains surrounding us can make storms which are hundreds of kilometers away sound a lot closer, which understandably can be scary, but pose no risk to our guests other than heavy rain. I hope you get a chance to come back and enjoy our park in friendlier weather! Jennifer O'Brien

We spent 6 hours here and did 5 courses between the 2 of us, including the most difficult one (I went slow due to past shoulder and hip injuries, but my boyfriend is athletic and agile). This was our 1st time, and it was so much fun!

The park is situated in a beautiful wooded area (lots of shade and no worries about sunburns!). The heights of the courses range from 4 feet off the ground to 60 feet up in the air. People who are afraid of heights will enjoy the Butterfly course, which is just 5 feet up and they can have someone accompany them by walking on the ground beside them. I suggest trying out the Lizard course before you move onto the ones higher up - if you can handle it, then you should have no problem with the Squirrel course. Don't try the most difficult one (the Eagle course) unless you are absolutely sure you can handle it - it does require lots of strength, balance, and stamina. There is an exit on the 3rd platform if you gave it a try and decided it's not for you.

The rope courses are very safe since you have to be hooked onto their safety wire at all times. The instructions in English was extremely clear and you have to complete a practice course first. You can call for help if stuck. They sell drinks and a small selection of snacks, so if you plan on staying here all day, bring something to eat. They also have a BBQ area! Lockers cost 3-6 CHF, or you can store things for free on a common storage rack.

How to get here: easy walk from Interlaken West station, turn right as you exit the station with your back facing the river and keep walking until you see the lift up the mountain. Walk up the street to left of the lift (watch out for cars) and you will see a sign for Seilpark soon.

Rocking and has many different courses. Some of them are extremely tough. One of the best things to do on a rainy day as it doesn't shut even then. You just need to be tall enough and you will have the one of best times of your life.
