Wife and I took a drive up to the Wetterhorn and enjoyed a cooling drink in the warm sun with gorgeous view over the mountain

This is not a review of being on Wetterhorn to do mountaineering, but as a sight to see when in the Grindelwald area. It can be seen on Grosse Scheidegg, First, Maennlichen, Kliene Scheidegg and other places and is always an imposing and unique mountain...More

Can be seen from anywhere in Grindelwald - dominating and beautiful and worth viewing from all different angles - really changes.

We were well looked after and gluten free was no problem and they had some gluten free bread for me. The food was excellent.

Good Swiss food. Not spectacular but good. Portions are just right. Daily specials - usually a good choice. Great wine list!

The place is quiet and full of beautiful hiking trails. It is away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. a must do if you like the peace and quiet amidst nature

We were at the top of the First Gondola having a cocktail and saw an avalanche on the Wetterhorn. Locals didn't seem all that impressed. they said that they occur all the time in the fall before the major winter snows come.
