This is a great place: they have cut a long path along the inside of the canyon that was formed by the glacier. The river is rushing below, and the atmosphere is really special. At one point they have the "spider's web" which is a...More

I don't understand why this is not featured on Tripadvisor's Things to do in Grindelwald. I only found out about it after stumbling across a leaflet at Grindelwald's tourist information centre. The staff there helpfully highlighted the route I needed to take, which was good...More

and great experience. Yes, the glacier may be a kilometre away, but getting there is spectacular. Information boards tell you the story and there is a small spigot that allows you to taste Eiger glacier water - cold and tasty! It was a cold but...More

What a spectacular gorge, and so conveniently located just on the edge of Grindelwald (we walked there from the village - easy). Seems like a bit of a hidden gem, and agree with other reviewers who are surprised that this is not better known. You...More

This gorge may be nice, it is still completely overrated and overpriced. You will be charged as much as 19 swiss francs for the only 1 km long path across this gorge. Like in any other gorge, you will find along your way tunnels and...More
