You can walk through Grindelwald to get to the cable car that takes you to the top. Winter brings all the snow sports but for those that don't want to ski etc you can do the cliff walk, the First Flyer (sitting) and First Glider...More

It’s the best place to ski. If you have time and going to pass near by, have to stop a few days and enjoy the fun. Minimum 2 days.

We spent there a weekend exploring the Bernese Alps. We hiked from First to Faulhorn to Bussalp finishing in Grindelwald. Magnificent views and great sledging slope.
