The Alp of Pfingstegg ist THE viewpoint of Grindelwald. With the only Areal tramway of Grindelwald you can go up to the Alp where lush meadows, glaciers close enough to touch and get a magnificent view to the valley. Experience an action-packed ride on our toboggan run and then enjoy the view from the restaurant terrace, or one of the many seating areas. 2016 , we will expand our range of playground for Kids and adults. We're open from May to October. Pfingstegg - THE Grindelwald Paradise!

The toboggan run was great fun but pretty pricey and you have to pay to come up the Gondola as well which adds to the cost. The supervision on the ride was a bit patchy but most people seemed to be able to manage the instructions properly [only a few chose to ignore it] Make sure that your ticket is... More

Hi johnde215ll Thanks for your Review. First: our Toboggan is not dangerous! He will be dangerous if poeple do stupid things like crashed in other poeples or stopped in the middle of the slide and make selfies! The Toboggan is 736 meters Long and we have 4 cameras, microphones and loudspeakers in there, tell us please what we should do... More

Navigating the Grindelwald area meant finding the best activities and trying not to be too touristy. Having heard that Grindelwald was a bit over exploited, we arrived on the train after a beautiful ride to a real marathon of some description being held in the town. Under the awesome North face of the Eiger, we watched the runners come in... More

Too short and too expensive as you have to pay to get up on the Gondala to use it. Ok price for the run but unless you want a strenuous walk it's pricey

We saw this place in a pamphlet and my wife said she wanted to try it. You will need to buy a ticket for the cable car (about $24) going up, then you need to buy another ticket ($5.5) for the ride. The ride was only about 5 mins. The activity is more for kids.

Hi Judith G im sorry, the Toboggan is in principle a safe Sport activity. if poeples do stubid things in the slide, we cannot make something! its verry dangerous to stand still in the slide, crashed other poeples or make selfies or filming. unfortunately and incomprehensibly: poeple do this and make accidents every time... All guests have to reed the... More

Weren't sure what we'd find other than the tobogganing, but we're very pleasantly surprised. Very nice restaurant, loads of outdoor play equipment for kids and a very, VERY well priced toboggan run (5,50 francs). Highly recommended.

Pfingstegg itself is very boring and not worth a visit. However, there are amazing hikes starting on Pfingstegg that i really recommend.
