170m2 of pure nature. The 80km network of hiking paths make it a great experience whatever your age.

The Swiss National Park has some awesome panoramas. Moving only a short distance reveals new mountain tops, and green valleys. Wether you are hiking or mountain biking you'll find peace and quiet and a vast amount of jaw-dropping trails.

Incredible scenery of dramatic and ever changing landscape of Raetian Alps in the Swiss canton of Grisons on the Italian and Austrian borders. Enchanted mountain forest, dreamy and moody, elusive and softly painted in seasonal shades.

It is the third time that I visit the national park (P7, P8 and P9 road from Zernez) with 10x42 binoculars. Each time I come up with the same disappointing conclusion. I hear no life, I feel almost no life and I see less animals...More

It's the Swiss National Park, how could it be anything but beautiful? Of course, it does not have the impressive peaks of, say, the Bernese Oberland, or of the Valais Alps. Here the peaks top out at about 3300 m, so they mostly don't have...More

A weekend hike - spending one night in Chamanna Cluozza in the park with my girlfriend. Totally worth the money - simple but delicious food (especially tasty after hiking 5h to get there). Hiked 4h the next day up and over "Murter" on trail 8....More

We used trail 17, as it has most reviews and primarily positive. The trail is full of signs explaining plants, animals etc. We started from Parking 7 (one can start from 8 or 6). I would also recommend to take something to sit on, as...More

The Swiss National Park (SNP) is very much an insiders tip for some of the most beautiful and rugged part of the Swiss and Italian alps. It lies along the side of the road from Zernez to Ofenpass/Fournpass. Unlike much of the rest of Switzerland...More

Peaceful walking area with no mountain bikes, winter sports, horses or dogs allowed. We saw marmots, red squirrels and an adder; if you're lucky you might see golden eagles, bearded vultures or even a bear! The visitor centre has useful information and there are a...More

It would have been better to walk in a nice weather but it was torrential rain when we were there. The lady at Tourism Information Bureau suggested the route for us so we parked at Car Park #8 and walked up the mountain. It was...More
