I was born in Solothurn and I visited the church when I was young. I think it is just a fantastic place. Recently renovated. A church with a very old history. A must when you visit this town.

The city of Solothurn is really a gem. Beautiful location with old center and the ensemble of the both large churches.

If you didn't know where this church is, you could miss it. It's between the square and st Ursen cathedral. More ornate inside and worth a visit. You can see the outside from a back street

As there was a Mass on in the St. Ursen Cathedral we visited the Church of the Jesuits instead. It's a wonderful building and we enjoyed just soaking up the beauty and peace of the place.

Very beautiful and peaceful. Nice to stay for some minutes to calm down and just look at the nice building.

Tried to visit this church yesterday but it is closed to the public for renovations. Check at the tourist office across the street to see if it has re-opened.

Town is very small and you can do everything in one day. very easy access to the train station. Only 10 minutes walk from there to the Hauptgasse. Kaffehalle if you want to stop for a light lunch.
