I loved Jason as our tour guide. He made this trip very interesting and informative. He added his creativity and personal touch to this tour by connecting the spots with Swiss German greetings. His rich knowledge about Switzerland surprised me giving his being an expat from the US. I highly recommend Jason to visitors who wants a guided tour in Luzern in English.

This tour is perfect if you want to get a little history and taste of Lucerne sights. Our guide Jason was funny, friendly and knowledgeable for a New Yorker! He’s embraced the Swiss culture and his enthusiasm showed his love of the country. We didn’t go into depth with many of the sights due to time and size limitations but for a free tour we did cover the top sights which made us more excited to explore in depth what we had covered.
Be mindful this is a free tour. A paid for tour would cost upwards of CHF 100 per person. The guides survive on tips they receive from everyone.

We love taking walking tours when visiting a new place. We feel it’s a great way to get a feel and good knowledge of the city and then we can explore on our own.
Our guide for Lucerne was Jason, and he was fantastic! As an ex-pat, he has tons of knowledge of Lucerne! Although we had a smaller group for our tour, he made sure to talk to each person while walking to different stops. He was friendly, knowledgeable and fun!
We were surprised when we were finishing, he let us know this was his first week doing the tour. We would have never known!
Thanks for a great morning, Jason!

Amazing tour of Lucerne. Charlotte is so passionate about the city, it’s people, history, and culture. She was engaging with everyone on our tour, answering questions, providing recommendations, and the two hour walk was a delight. Highly recommended for all visitors to this lovely city.

Today we were lucky enough to catch a free walking tour in Lucerne. Our tour guide Jason proved to be a man of wisdom, a presenter and narrator of the highest caliber and an absolute delight as his genuine enthusiasm and deep-rooted knowledge of the city shone through as he led us through Lucerne's downtown. Beyond anecdotes and historical facts, he generously shared insider tips, ensuring that even a day's visit wouldn't miss out on the city's essence.

Jason gave us an excellent and engaging tour around Lucern. We enjoyed greatly and can heartily recommend if you’re in Lucern for a half-day (like us), a day or a weekend. Jason gives recommendations of great places and locations to include in your experience!

We took a walking tour around Luzern with Charlotte. She was very knowledgeable about the sites we stopped at and the history behind Luzern and the sites. She also pointed out her favorite restaurants. I'm not sure why anyone would take a fee based walking tour. We did tip her at the end but that was up to us and we were happy to.

When you are in Luzern, and you have some time to spend (check out their website for when and where they conduct the Free Guided Tours) this is a must-do.
Our guide on 20 Sep 2022 brought us through the Old Luzern, Musegg Wall, Chapel Bridge, Luzern Bahnhof, KKL, and the Lion Monument. She also taught us about the extensive history of Luzern (and its unfortunate continued association with fire incidents), and gave us interesting insights that were known only to locals about the places we went.
Do bring along some cash-on-hand to tip these guides, as they do an amazing job out of their free time.

We had a fun tour with Alexandria this morning on our first full day in Lucern. It is very clear that she loves the beauty and history of her city of Lucern. She was very patient with our questions and keeping the group informed and entertained! I wish Alexandria could come to every city with us!
