Everytime I visit this place it always leave me breathless. It's just marvelous to take a stroll in the old bridge especially when the flowers are at its fullest bloom. Yes it can be overcrowded with tourists but its just worth every visit.

One of the most photographed bridges in the area. Watching people admiring it and taking selfies was fun to watch. The histroy of the bridge is worth reading.

Chapel bridge and Lion monument are the most popular attractions for the tourists. Both are on the walking distance from Lucerne train station. Just cross the road from station and visit the chapel bridge and then continue walking less than a kilometer and you can reach to Lion Monument. On the way to Lion monument there is beautiful church where... More

Highlight of our trip was seeing the Chapel Bridge. It is a very old bridge built over Lake Lucerne. Easy to get to from the main train station. The flowers are so pretty. Easy to cross the Lake. Would take maybe 10 minutes at the most.

For me, it was my first visit to Lucerne and I felt this place was very good and strategic as it's close to the sightseeing and Lake Lucerne. There are also many stores, restaurants and coffee shop where you can... More

Beautiful city. Because it's quite small Lucerne is really nice to walk around and you can see most of the sights in a day. Very clean and organized.

This is unusual and charming and conveys you from place to place. You can trot across 5 or six times in your Lucerne stay. It handles tons of tourists really well. The big treat are the triangular painted panels in the peaked roof. The are just beautiful and you can't believe they are still there. They reinstalled the ones they... More

A very beautiful bridge built over Lake Lucerne. Kids would love seeing ducks and swans. Many restaurants on the side. Could be packed with tourists in the middle of the days.

Very old structure. When in town it's worth a visit. The flowers along the bridge are wonderful. Amazing how these things have existed for so long.
