This bridge is the charm of Lucerne, it is covered by flowers on both the sides of the bridge and they are identical bunches of beautifully blossomed flowers..very well maintained and there are paintings you will see on the top when you are taking a walk across the bridge, you can get few of the best pictures of your trip... It was very nice visiting the Chapel Bridge. A must see when visiting Lucern. Highly recommend. This bridge has a small chapel with the images of the virgen Mary and some other saints. The trails are covered with beautiful flowers.

The Chapel Bridge has to be one of the most impressive bridges in Switzerland. It was constructed out of wood centuries ago, and part of it burned down; but has been restored. View the artists painting in the bridge section where the fire did not take place. A camera is a must.

You can’t visit Lucerne without a walk on the Kapellbrucke, built in 1333 as part of the city’s fortification it is the oldest and longest compeletely roofed bridge in Europe. It has been renovated and restored many times during the last 700 years, and in the 1990’s was nearly burned down but thanks to very accurate construction plans was completely... More

Absolute must see. You can't miss the bridge from anywhere near the river in town. Lots of restaurants along both sides where you can sit and enjoy the scenery.

A beautiful, old bridge is a must-see! Lined with bright, botanical flowers makes for great pictures, especially at sunset. Be prepared...it is flooded with tourists during the Summer months.

This iconic covered bridge is the oldest covered bridge in Europe and is famous for the paintings which adorn the inside path. The bride was built in 1333, though a fire destroyed much of the original structure in 1993. It has since been restored. Lovely back drop for dinner!

You will like the bridge in the first look. The colorful planters on the wooden bridge gives it a lovely look. But once you pass through it and check the paintings, it will take you back in time. Try to read about the history about the bridge before getting on it. This will make the experience far better. We used... More
