April 16-20 2016 Itinerary Help (2 Replies)
Hello! My husband and I are in our late 20s and are planning a 2.5 month European adventure for the spring. We have decided to stay in Lucerne at Chateau Gutsch April 16-20. We plan to take the Cabrio cable car to Stanserhorn and Echo Trails Lake Lucerne Boat Cruise and William Tell Hike. Is it reasonable to take the train ride to Lauterbrunnen for the day and hike to Stechelberg to see the valley and waterfalls? Anything else I am missing in the area that you suggest? Thank you!

You can quite easily do the itinerary on that Echo Trails tour yourself and if you have a Tell Pass for the duration of your stay in Luzern, it would all be covered. You are paying a great deal just to have a guide.
