Don’t miss this beautiful bridge with all the paintings and in a very good state, less famous than the Chapel bridge and a bit smaller but definitely stunning as well!

Love the artworks on the bridge, but hated if was so crowed with tourists like me ;-) Why can’t I be special and be the only one on the bridge ;-( BTW, love the big spiders on the bridge.

This bridge is not as long as the Chapel Bridge, but it has the same look and the same architectural value. It is nice to use it to cross from one side of the lake to the other, but it is not that centrally located.

This was the second of the old bridges and it is certainly worth using. However, it is best to allocate time to see it properly as there are amazing paintings on it. It is also worth taking some time to look at the weir by the turbine station at one end, as you can appreciate the needles of the manually-operated water level controls.

This is my second trip to the bridge. As before, it was crowded and easily bypassed for that reason, but don't. Many of the bridge arches, originally all, before being damaged by fire, are crowned with triangular paintings. One in each direction. Originally 100+ scenes, of history, out for all to see. My recommendation is to purchase a decent quality camera, with decent auto focus, move to the side of the bridge, so people can pass, and take a quick picture of each. This way, after the day of forced marching ends, you can pull out the phone of your choice, translate the titles, zoom in on the action and enjoy the ancient billboards.
