Lucerne station is a busy hub and has a lot to offer. On the lower floor there is a supermarket and several food to go shops . We used the seated upstairs cafe which had a good menu and was self service. The station exit goes to the main bridge from the city to the old town..

The staion is near to teh ferry terminals and the bus station. The place was designed by Calatrava and is superb. Ther is lots of space9 needed because it can get very busy) and there is a good selection of shops and services below ground level. ther is even a walk - in medical
