Mount Titlis and Lucerne Day Tour from Zurich

1,141 reviews
Mt. Titlis lives up to its hype as one of Switzerland's top destinations, and a guided day trip is the easiest way to see it from Zurich. Travel by coach and panoramic cable car to the summit without worrying about navigation or organizing tickets. Activity fees and a stop in Lucerne are included, and a skiing option is available in winter. Plus, photo stops at scenic spots break up the long journey.

Since 10 years we go about 20 times a year to the different concerts of the Lucerne Festival Orch ( Outstanding) and the Lucerne symphony Orchestra . the acoustic in this Hall makes the visitors of the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg jealous. If you visit Lucerne, try to get tickets before you start your trip. The internet offers are self explaning and easy to handle.

The concert hall is superb, with outstanding acoustics. There are cafes and bars as well as a museum and an open mezzanine floor. The roof is an architectural and engineering marvel and the views from just beneath show Lucerne at its best.

Wonderful musical experience - venue is amazing and sound just perfect - arrive early to enjoy the fountain, lakeside walk and have a coffee or a glass of fizz

Lucerne Concert Hall is located in KKL building, in the center of Luzern, in Switzerland. It is a very beautiful hall, where there are a lot of concerts every year. We came here in August-2018 to see Bruckner Symphony 9 by Daniel Barenboim. It was wonderful! Really we enjoyed a lot with this concert! (see also KKL luzern)

I was at the top gallery and far out to the right side for attending the Roger Hodgson concert. The bass sound was awful, the drum sound a bit better, and the rest of the instruments (vocals, keyboards, guitars, saxophones) sounded great. A musical friend of mine said that concerning the bass sound, it can depend on exactly where you sit. However, in this sold-out venue moving round was not an option so, having read the rave reviews about the acoustics of this fine concert hall, I was somewhat disappointed with the sound quality. It may be fine for classical concerts, though.
