We saw a rock concert in the small venue. Great sound and vision, although the ticketing was a bit confusing (you had to get a wrist band as well, but this was a festival). Soft drinks at decent prices. Alcohol really expensive!

I will keep coming back and coming back.- This concert hall sets the highest bar for modern concert going. Make sure that you keep informed of any concerts during your stay. You will be amazed at the quality of the sound and the monolithic appeal of its archecture.

Arrived in Lucerne for a brief stay, and found out that the Berlin Philharmonic was in town. Got a ticket and went that night to the concert at the Concert Hall. What a beautiful place! Conveniently located next to the main train station, it was easy to get to. The hall has a main floor and 3 balconies - most... More

We had tickets for several concerts of the Lucerne Festival and were deeply impressed by the concert hall ! One is in awe both for the splendid architecture and for its matchless acoustics. We were lucky enough as to hear/listen both a Bruckner and then a Mahler symphony ,which offer some of the most exquisite sound experiences ; on top... More

modern architecture at its best, located just next to the railway station and at the boat pier for a boat ride on the lake. there is a nice terrace on the 4th floor, with free access, providing a view on the old Kappel bridge, the river, the lake. And if you are lucky to get a ticket for a concert,... More

This is on a par with the concert hall of my home city, Sydney Opera House, but is in a traditional shape. Would describe interior as having the clean cut, polished wood, Scandinavian design style appearance. One oddity was the steps in the back rows of the concert hall are steepesr I have ever seen, about 1'.

Highly recommended if you are fortunate to have the opportunity. Fabulous acoustics and stunning views from the intermission bars, located right on the water and a short walk from central Lucerne. An exceptional facility for a group event.
