The facilities here are great, especially for families. There are lovely trails to explore and many feature play areas or treasure hunt features for kids. It's very easy access and much less crowded that Titlis.

Absolutely extraordinary place!

Pros:
- Cheaper, costs around 18 franks return if you want to use the cable car.
- Has beautiful walks for all levels of fitness. Ranging from extremely easy to some more difficult hiking spots and even spots for climbers.
- Great restaurant with stunning views.
- Playground for kids that are well maintained, and even has a fort look out for them.
- Has a toboggan ride that costs roughly 5 franks per ride. Had a deal to make it cheaper if you buy more tickets at once. Ride is about 800m and had great viewing spots.
- Cow Bells can be seen and patted.
- Amazing view of the Alps and especially Mount Titlis.
- Spots for some amazing and picture perfect photos.
- Staff at chairlift, ride and restaurants are all very friendly and will even provide some suggestions on trails depending on fitness levels if you're into taking a walk/hike.

Cons:
- To go further up there is an option for a second chairlift, but this is a seperate price and will cost around 18 franks return again, bringing total travel costs to around 36 franks.
- Cafe at top of the mountain (further up from the restaurant) is quite pricey.

Something to not miss out on, and a much much much cheaper alternative to Mount Titlis.

We visited Brunni in summer and liked it very much.
It's a short cable car ride to intermediate station (Ristis) and then a chairlift to Brunni.
A nice restaurant, toboggan with great views, walking trails at Ristis.
Brunni has a lake, restaurant with amazing view and music. It's a great choice if you are in Engelburg.
People usually miss this since they do Titlis full day- we recommend doing this early morning before proceeding for Titlis if you are here for a day. Else spare a full day for this and you will love your decision.

This is very good, near & beautiful spot to carry out picnic on the mountain. While cable car travels one can see whole city & animal grazing on the lustrous green hills.
At top a very nice lake, children play area, BBQ, restaurant & paragliding spots are there to thoroughly enjoy a day picnic.
Also one can see mount Titlist from here.

This place I liked extremely because as the cable car goes over the grassland and below cows are grazing grass each cow has bell tied to its neck and the size of the bell depends on
How much litres milk cow give more litres bigger the bell lesser amount of milk smaller the bell so the mixed sound which is produced by the bells is so serene that you feel that the cable car should go on n on. It’s a lovely experience! Must try once in life time!

Well worth the visit. We were staying in Lucerne and it's a very easy train trip on Engelberg Express, which takes about an hour. You then catch the free bus right outside the station and it's just 5 minutes to the Brunni cable car. We took the cable car up and then caught a chair lift to the top. From there we took a walk out along a trail for about an hour (return along the same route) and the walk down the gravel road back to the top of the cable car. We had a light lunch then the cable car back down (it leaves every 20 mins) then walked back to the station. The trains back to Lucerne leave every hour on the hour. Great fun.

Mt Brunni is just across Mt. Titlis. A perfect destination for families and hikers. Brunni has a lot of walking trails and the highlight is the small lake on the top that offers hydrotherapy! What else do you need after a good hike in the Alps! Great place for activities as well as relaxation. Pack yourself a nice picnic and enjoy Brunni in all it's charm!

Totally worth the visit!
Cable car available but easy enough for a reasonably fit person to hike up the whole way.

Lovely lodge at Brunni to eat or just drink rum and hot chocolate!

Very awesome place to visit and would highly recommend getting lost in the alps and exploring through nature and enjoying the wonderful scenery :)

A great view of Mt Tittilis also 👍🏾

Easy access to a small lake/big pond with Kniepp paddling pathway around the edge (great for tired hot feet). Kids playground and nice walking trails with activities for kids and you can watch the paragliders take off. Grills available if you want to bring your own meat. A good way to get into the mountains with small children/less active people but beware of the crowds on sunny weekends

Provides a spectacular 360 degree view. An immensely enjoyable trip to the mountain top with the sun shining onto the snow capped mountains. Shall visit again in the next trip.
