Went with friends to see geneva, my first time and I must say it's really beautiful place...Geneva lake is amazing and water is so clear that u can see the bottom of the lake...another plus point is that it's next to town centre and transport hub...best for walk, taking boat tours and dinning...overall best

Lake Geneva is Beautiful!!!!! The best views are between Vevey and Montreaux due to the steepness and descent of the mountains and hills. Geneva is a must-visit, as is Vevey and Montreaux. We stayed in Lutry which is a lovely town to stay in as its quiet, has cheaper (but still luxurious) hotels than in Lausanne and Geneva and Montreaux!!... More

A beautiful lake, breathtaking and so clean. The mountains framing it are stunning. Extra bonus, get a travel card, free from your hotel and travel across it for free.

The boat company being named Swissboat one could expect this to be for English speaking tourists... It is not ! Despite 90% of the passengers were English speaking, the tour comment was in French only ! I booked this tour for a group of Indien tourists. They took the boat on the right bank of the lake (was 10' late)... More

Like in Zurich, I rented a bike (for free) to ride along the lake. It was beautiful and a great way to see a lot more of Geneva.

Lake Geneva never fails to disappoint, whatever the weather. I've only visited in winter - I hear it's spectacular in summer - but its natural beauty is unforgettable.

Enjoy walking along the lake with restaurants and bars to take a break. The boat trips are great for an hour or two also. Water taxis cross the lake for short trips which are included in your travel pass. Look out for Mont Blanc in the distance when clear.
