Was planning to hire bikes to cycle around the edge of the lake to get a different view but then discovered it was free! However the bike was uncomfortable and brakes were rubbish so wouldn't have minded being able to pay for a better bike. That said, it's a great idea for tourists to be able to use.

After touring the old city of Geneva yesterday on foot and tram, we were pleasantly surprised with free bike rentals from Geneve Roules! Located right behind the train station, we showed our passport, a business card from our hotel along with 20 francs/bike as a deposit. All staff members were helpful, professional and courteous. We got a 6 speed road... More

We rent 3 free bikes (they are free for 4 hours, after that you pay 4 chf/h) and one bike with with 'remorque' for our baby (18 chf/h). The bikes worked perfectly fine and we could spend a very nice and cheap day!

Beware this place. Arrived early afternoon to rent two bikes. They had run out of free bikes and offered me two bikes at CHF8 each (OK - reasonable prices, but not free!). Then, one assistant told my partner we could pick up and drop off bikes at Kempinski Hotel - when I asked the guy who served me when I... More

Wow, this is a must do. Bikes for for 4hrs free, with helmet and bike lock. 2chf, per hour afterwards. I rode around the lake as far as I could with my daughter and had a great time. Don't miss it.

We rented two city bikes for half a day (13-18h) and rode all the way to Anières (the Frontier with France and back). It is a nice course if you can handle some gradient in the way there. The bikes were wonderful, they rode smoothly, the gears and the brakes worked well. They provided padlocks for both of them. Price... More

Had a few hours to kill before catching my plane. Came here to hire a bike - huge workshop with plenty choice. However they wouldn't let me leave my carry on bag while I went cycling so not very accommodating. Never encountered that before. Bikes look good so worth going to. I shouldn't expect them to hold luggage but other... More

My husband and I had a wonderful time riding bikes around Geneva! Geneve Roule was great! Simple to use, organized, and FREE! That's right, you can rent the bikes free for up to 4 hours each day. Just show your id and you are off! They will even loan you a helmet for free. Multiple locations in the city. Very... More

Geneva roule bikes was great!! I highly recommend this, as does my 16 year old daughter. It was great exploring the city. Geneva is very bike friendly. There is a basket on every bike as well as a long corded bike lock so you can also visit sights and walk around without worry.
