Cosy square in Geneva old town

A pretty and pleasant and pedestrian square at the top of Geneva old town; Have a croissant and a good Swiss Ristretto at one of the cafe's. Take in the Cathedral afterwards

Not quite the vibrant square I was expecting to find. In fact if I hadn't been sitting in La Clemence, I would have doubted I was in the right place. The description in the guide book did not seem to match what I was looking at. What didn't help was the amount of scaffolding which hide my view of the... More

Really enjoyed strolling around looking at the high end shops and antique dealers. We walked through it at night and felt perfectly safe. Lots of nice bars and restaurants worth visiting this are at any time of the day.

Enjoy a coffee or drink at this nice place embedded into the old town centre of Geneva. Fountain is not missing and a place to find some rest and inspiration.

This place is filled with restaurants, shopping outlets, and antiquity shops. I just love coming here often and walk around the old city browsing the shops and enjoying a morning coffee or lunch at any restaurant in this area.

Plenty of foods & drinks can be found here. It is very easy to get here, it is just located behind the uphill alley of the main luxury product shop street. If early there is bazaar in center.

Always fantastic to pass through Place Bourg de Four, or have a sit down outside at one of the cafes for a drink or meal. Somehow both quiet and bustling (as is accurate of Geneva in general), the square is steeped in history, beautiful to look at, and ambient to be in.

I had the pleasure of living here for just a little bit over 6 months. What a nice place. There is not only great stores and bars and restaurants but the place is just nice and lively. It is up the hill so you need to be prepare to walk, but walking is a normal thing in Switzerland. The plaza... More

A classic medieval Old Town square filled with alfresco eateries and lined with beautifully preserved buildings along cobblestoned streets. A good place to relax and unwind, away from the bustling city streets of Geneva. This is a good starting place for you to explore the Old Town area.
