A classic medieval Old Town square filled with alfresco eateries and lined with beautifully preserved buildings along cobblestoned streets. A good place to relax and unwind, away from the bustling city streets of Geneva. This is a good starting place for you to explore the Old Town area.

The «Four» in the name refers to the «forum», the market place of the city in Roman times. More than ever, this is the most pleasant square in the Old Town and the place to meet friends or watch the world go by from one of its busy terraces. Geneva’s history of the past 500 years has left its marks... More

A must-do. Have a drink or just a walk and take the opportunity to watch people and the architecture around this place.

An expensive area with sidewalk cafes for a spot of people watching. It's a trendy area and slightly touristy, hence the inflated prices. But then again, Switzerland isn't for the thrifty.

You can't come to Geneva and not have at least one drink on this terrasse in the middle of the old town. Surrounded by beautiful old buildings and full of animation on sunny days!

Not the best old town center I have ever seen in Europe but worth a visit. Restaurants are extremely expensive.

the pubs and the restaurants are a little overrrated and expensive! a little bit further you can find cheaper and better pubs. But if you are in Geneva you have to visit the old city and place bourg du four is a must... but honestly there are much nicer 'Place' in and around geneva.

This is a great square to soak up the ambience of Geneva at relaxation. The neighbourhood is steeped in history. People watching is fascinating here with a great cross-section of social cultures evident. Oh, and you can drink a coffee or beer and wine too, just to help pass the time. :-)
