We were looking for other attractions from the Broken Chair and UN Palace and stumbled on this museum. It's a short walk from the UN Palace and has a fountain in front. It looked new but still majestic. The collections include old porcelain pieces from...More

This museum is perfect - its architecture, surrounding parkland, the beautiful items showcased within. Not far from the UN area. I spent several very happy hours appreciating it.

I'm not usually one who's got an interest in porcelain specifically, but I enjoyed the museum. They've got a pretty varied and interesting collection and it was a pleasure to see. If you're in the area, it's worth a walk-through.

If you like porcelain, this is a museum which must be on your agenda. Take No 8 bus to Palais des Nations, walk past the broken chair, a short distance up Avenue Appia, and it is on the right.

Nice collection of ceramics, but there was very limited description in English which made it less than satisfying for non French speakers.

The glass collection was interesting, but I think I mostly enjoyed the opulent palace. Having a glass of wine on the veranda upstairs was wonderful. There is a view over the lake, with mountains in the distance.

This is the ceramic museum. I found the pieces interesting from different times. I likely did not have full appreciation because I do not study ceramics but it is worth a visit along this museum row.

Elegant place, but nothing special. Some think it's related to UN, but nothing in common except the reference to Ariana. Offers a good opportinitity for a simple lunch on the balcony. But the museum is perheps only for those who know what they are looking...More

I really enjoyed sauntering through the Musee Ariana. The architecture of the building is absolutely stunning, and with free entry, you don't have to feel pressured to stay longer than your interest in ceramics lasts. If you're in the area and wanting a more quiet...More
