This is a beautiful sandy beach that is perfect for swimming, surfing, body board, sun bathing. There is a broad range of little seafood restaurants all along the 2 km of beach. Can be crowded on the weekends in January and February.

Is popular this beach because have sand and the other places is with small stones, not sand.

Beautiful beach in Barranca. It is very clean and quiet. There are also a lot of restaurants next to it (some of them are very good like Tato or Jota). In the night, there are a couple of discos if you want to go with friends. If you go in car, you can just park next to the beach. You can also rent a parasol and chairs for the sand if you do not have any. You can also surf in this beach if you like that sport. There are always some people surfing.

If you are looking for a beach in Lima...this is the one!!!! Sand, not rocks...families, not just surfers...just what we were looking for !
