The site of a church dedicated to Marian pilgrimage dating from before the 8th century. The present building spans Romanesque to Gothic architecture and has 13th -16th paintings on its interior walls. Unique and one for the connoisseurs and curious alike.

I had a business lunch in the Schweizer Museum/Restaurant next door and walked across the garden grounds where the church is open, free, to the public. Very quiet and contemplative, the inside is mostly original and dates back 1000+ years. Just a few years down...More
