A popular interactive adventure game in the center of Basel. You and your friends get locked in an unknown room full of unsolved mysterious mazes. For one hour you will become a part of the story, trick the Master Thief, steal the treasure and escape! You have only 60 minutes to break out and only your team to rely on! Very well organized, A lot of fun. We had a family outing of 10people. Mixed ages and children. Solved both parts just in time but not without help! Well planned and rooms spacious.

My girlfriend and I had a lot of fun completing this room, it is a nod back to the classic style of escape room. We had a great games master too.
The difficulty would be of easy to medium.
The room is available in english too, with no problems.
The dynamics of the room allow for them to make changes to make it easier for kids or harder for more experienced escapees .. like the two of us! :)

Played a lot of rooms in The Netherlands and also abroad. Outside The Netherlands a lot of rooms are standard and conceptrooms. This one is different and really good.
The Room is original and the puzzels are great. There is a great game flow and the puzzels are logic. Maybe they can only ad some extra music and lights for the the final step to be the best room in the area.
I would highly recommend this room. We played with 2 players, but you can easily do it with more! There is more than enough to do.

Very friendly, competent staff. Beautiful, well-kept rooms (including toilets). Cell No. 2 was exciting, thrilling, challenging but doable. We had a great time and felt superbly looked after. We'll be back. Top notch.

We had a lot of fun. The room was well made and the game well constructed. Thanks to the very kind girl and her help we had a wonderful experience!! Highly recommended!

My family and I (ages 12 through 40) have done escape rooms around the world and this is one of the best escape room experiences we’ve had. Our game master was Sarah and she created a fun and interactive experience. We did Cell #2 which was a unique room compared to ones we’ve done previous. Highly recommend this location.

The room is great, the puzzles are really creative, it was great fun. We were really challenged ;-) And the nice lady who helped in the background (unfortunately I can't remember her name) was a lovely host and added to the experience!
The only thing we found too difficult was the thing with the white ring and the faces, there should be a hint to help, that would be great.

The riddles were very interesting, hard and tricky, real shake for our brains! Of course we can’t say much ;) but sometimes when you solve something, happens something very unpredictable that makes you say “Wow” ) Very very cool. And super atmosphere, I really felt like in a movie.
Besides, what we liked a lot is the location. It is in fact right in the centre, a minute walk from tramstation Barfusserplatz and another minute from cinemas and restaurants.
The owners were very friendly and comfortable. We were having much fun and jokes. Thx for a good time! We for sure recommend this Place!

I organised this event for my son's 12th birthday. I think this game is professionally done and great fun. Kids at this age needs some adult help, but they could make a great portion of it. It was fun, it was excitement and they were all proud at the end. I really recommend this place to try.

It was there with my girlfriend.. You have to work toghether and solve many little things.
I think it is quite for everbody. Family with children or some friends.. Everthing is possible. Onehourescape is located in the heart of Basel. It is a visit worth..

8 years old is ok, they might not be able to 'solve' the clues but can be included.

Dear Eric,
There is almost no language skills needed to play One Hour Escape. However there will be some instructions and explanations from our Game Master before the game, which you have to be able to understand.
We offer games in two languages- English and German. If at least one person in your group speaks one of those languages and can translate the short instructions to the rest of the players - you will be totally fine.
P.S. Our Game Master is always ready to explain some points non-verbal :D
