I walked through the city, and discovered the old St. Alban's Gate. It is a beautiful structure, and is most impressive. It's a must see!

Part of the history of the town so we visited it out of curiosity. Nothing special. We spent and average of ten minutes there for the sake of seeing it alone and simply because we had time on our hands.

One of the last things to visit during a delightful stroll through the St Alban-Tal Quartier, Basel's "mini Venice". The park through the gateway is fairly underwhelming but has some nice vistas through to the Rhine.

Historical spot in the city. Its ok to visit to take some pictures, but it is nothing special. I would not go there just for this spot.

I would have not gone to the St. Alban's gate if I were not close by or had a short time in Basel. But if you are around, it is nice to see the tower. If you like petanque, you can always find a company...More

It is not the main atractoin but since Basel does not have many atraction it is worth the visit to take some picturs .

This is only one of the gates to the city of Basel but it is nice for taking photographs of your visit.
