visited this spring, the whole is a circular temple, recalls the classic style, the columns are a gift of recovery, the latrine is placed in the center and inside is an atmosphere of mystery and mysticism.

Even the lane leading up to the door of this circular sanctuary is peaceful and welcoming. Inside eartha dn sky vibrate together, and so do your body and your heart and your mind.

Ancient pagan temple later converted to and still in use as a church. Eerie but peaceful. Set in well maintained andpretty grounds on the edge of the city centre. From the Etruscan Arch walk uphill along Corso Garibaldi for about a half mile.

THE best church in Perugia. Very intimate, ancient pagan temple of atypical round shape. Essential and beautiful.

Such a sense of history in this church. Beautiful simplicity, well worth the walk to just sit and soak up the atmosphere.

When you stand at the front door and look out, you are seeing the same view early Christians saw in the Middle Ages. The same is true inside the church. Nothing has changed. It's a long uphill slog to get here but it's a local...More

beautiful and ancient, the Tempio di Sant'Angelo is near the University district, easily reached by walking. We visited on a Monday, and the site was filled with flowers. Interesting shape.
