There is a red, open air bus tour offered by the tourism office many times a day from March to November. Excellent overview of the city sparing you all the up and downhill walking to see various city gates and superb views of the Umbran countryside around the city. Tour tickets 14 euros for adults, earphones provided so you can... More

Would be one of the hardest to find tourist offices we have ever experienced. No signs up anywhere. We were given directions by 4 people and the fifth had never heard of it. Just wandering ..... Still looking ...... we spotted the letter I on a dark brown sign. Still nothing that would identify the fact that in fact we... More

Horrible service and people!! I asked for directions to the stained glass museum. I was told it was out of town and I should go to the chocolate factory. She gave me prices and directions to the chocolate place. We had no desire to do this. I had googled directions for the museum and just wanted to be pointed the... More

We found the Perugia Tourist Office extremely helpful. We went there twice in one day to get information on transportation, attractions, etc., and we were helped by two different women. Both of them were extremely friendly and helpful, and the office is well stocked with useful information. Perugia itself is very scenic, with medieval architecture all over the hilly terrain.

Perugia is horrific. The Tourist Office doesn't give a damn and our bored and indifferent. The town is infested by addicts and thuggish Africans who are looking for an opportunity to steal. I'm never coming back. Octavian should have burnt this place to the ground and seeded the ground with salt.

The first impression was of not being welcome but we persevered with our kiwi smiles and she became very helpful. We had to return and she remembered and sorted our problem. We have found that the initial experience with people when they realize we don't speak the language is not all that helpful but again peservence seems to make a... More

Beautiful city, but with a terrible tourist office: the person working there didn't give us any useful info and looked quite bothered by our presence.
