I had the privilege of cooking and learning (for 7 days!) with 4 other friends last summer with Rafaella. I never thought making fresh pasta was possible. Rafaella's technique--hands on, easy to follow instructions and having fun with fellow students while doing it--made it a reality. We met other wonderful people (fellow students) during our stay--eating our own creations for... More

My wife and I stayed at "La Volpe e l'uva" in November 2016. We transferred from Rome via car, and the farmhouse was ready and waiting for our arrival. Raffaela had earlier checked via email what food we would like for our first night; we chose to go with something fairly light, as we had a long lunch in Spoleto... More

A wonderful holiday, filled with friends, food and the warmth of Italy. The best ingredient for this exceptional holiday is Raffaella. Kind, knowledgable, and a gracious hostess. Beautiful surroundings, delicious food, amazing views.

If your goal is to immerse yourself in a traditional cooking environment, then this is the place for you. Raffaella is organized, talented and shares her cooking instruction with heaping tablespoons of humor and wit. The classes are conducted right in her house to the sound of music. We found ourselves totally engaged in the cooking process. Delectable 4 course... More

What a wonderful time !!! First off, let me stress that Raffaella went out of her way to accommodate us. We were only in the Perugia area for one day -- on a Sunday. Normally she doesn't hold class on Sundays (she can't work 7 days/week every week), but she made an exception is our case. She didn't have to... More

I went to Raffa's farm with 5 girlfriends. We had a wonderful time cooking in the morning and exploring and shopping in the afternoon. All of our needs were tended to. We learned to prepare a lot of delicious food that we all felt we could cook on our own once we got home. We had a vegetarian with us,... More

We were very excited when we booked our time at Let's Cook in Umbria, and we weren't disappointed. Rafaella was a very warm, fun and wonderful host, taking us through our cooking lessons, helping with organising transfers, and even giving us some of the farm-produced organic red wine for our room. The cooking classes were very hands on, and we... More

Let's Cook in Umbria, with Raffaella, was one of the highlights of our tour of Umbria. Raffaella is warm, lovely and a great cook and teacher. We went with another couple and had a blast learning to make fresh pasta, eggplant parm, and an exquisite fig crostada. Our husband's were wary of taking a cooking class, but loved it. We... More
