Yes, it’s old as a lot of buildings in town. Some of the frescoes are really impressive! Amazing, unfortunately, not all are visible.

We spent more than two hours in this wonderful church, simply mesmerized us from the early medieval wall paintings. Surprisingly that these values are left without protection, but thanks to this, we were able to admire the works of medieval masters face to face. The visit of the Three Kings, or the pictures of St. Martins, reveal a high level of education and is fantastic as the colors remain. It is a pity that they put a closet in front of St. Sebestyan's portrait.

Completely fooled by the very plain and unattractive exterior, I came in here expecting a smallish and relatively plain church. How wrong I was!
This is a huge and very grand church, with the sheer scale of the interior being visually enhanced by the small area of pews, that only seem to cover a quarter of the nave space. With grand arches down both sides harbouring large and intricate sculptured frames for imposing paintings; and the high arched roof, this is an architectural and artistic gem.
I encourage you not to miss it.

The church predated the Chiesa di Sanfrancesco nd is more expansive with many more works of art.Even though I was pretty 'churched out' by this time that church still 'rang my bell'

San Domenico church I noticed strange case it is positioned right in the square dedicated to Giordano Bruno, famous heretic of the history of the Roman church, really unusual, as unusual is the unfinished facade that makes this church unique, never before I saw a church with the facade not completed. It was one of the first attractions I visited being extremely close to the entrance gate of the city.
The interior is nice to visit, very simple, nothing glitzy, but also to visit.
