A beautifully intimate space within such a large and ornate basilica, this church within a church is worthy of a visit outside of the main Assisi attractions

Assisi is very beautiful and the Frescoes are top notch. there is no better place to see Mideaval Art. St Francis' Chapel in the Church of Santa Maria del Angelli is a very special place.
