The temple converted church was right near us, the interior was very ornate whilst the exterior was ancient, looked at its best at night under lights

The exterior is very plain and we were not really sure what this building was. We walked inside the door and were pleasantly surprised. Musso e Foro Romano is a beautifully preserved Roman temple that is now a small Christian church. The colorful, rich interior...More

Incredible architecture and detail. We almost didn’t go inside as we didn’t see anyone coming in or out. Amazing colors and a sight to see. Not as large as you would think. Actually it’s quite small but definitely worth checking out if you’re in town...More

Interesting with the Roman columns on the fascade. Located on a main square near the Tourist Information Office. Nice, semi-elaborate church interior

I have been to the Ronan forum and I liked this better. It was well signposted in english. They have a glass floor allowing you to see the roman street without damaging it. Very well done.

This is an intact Roman temple which is at street level today because it was originally built up higher than the public piazza where it was located. In fact, the Roman piazza is below the current one, so you have to descend below street level...More

The Church of Santa Maria is one of the most unusual churches in Italy. In the midst of the Roman Forum one encounters an ancient Temple of Minerva with its Roman columns in front. But with the coming of Christianity, the space holy space has...More

The entrance to this museum is located just off Piazza del Comune on Via Portica. It is a HIDDEN GEM. Admission price is €5 and would be worth twice that amount. As you step down into the entrance of the museum, there are numerous artifacts...More
