I rent a vespa for a couple of days and it was really enjoyable, definetly a right choice. Siena by vespa people is so cool. They are really nice talking always trying to turn your trip into an amazing experience. They give us a ride to the station once we left the vespa at no cost. Simply good people.

Being nearby Siena for 6 nights my wife and me wantend to rent a Vespa for one day on our own to be free to drive through the Chianti region. Googled and found sienabyvespa.com. Easy and quick reservation , ask for Carolina, she speaks English. Costs reasonably € 50 for one day per scooter (me driver and my wife passenger). Had a really fantastic day, we drove triangle Siena, Radda, Castelino and back to Siena, about 100km in total on secondary asphalt roads with a full tank. Before returning Vespa you need to fuel it up: only 4 liters, so economic too! I really recommend this company, friendly staff and easy, no strings attached.

This was definitely the best idea to get around the Tuscany countryside while staying in Siena.
The owners were very polite, very helpful and even agreed to having the Vespa brought to our hotel on the morning we asked.
The Vespa itself was very good, very easy to drive and comfortable. And since it's only a 125cc it doesn't spend much on gas, so getting around is cheap.
I would definitely recommend trying it!

We were very excited to rent a vespa to make a trip around the countryside of Tuscany. We found this place online and decided to contact them through their site to rent the vespa. Since we never got an answer, we decided to call them but again no answer.
Their website claims that the only requirements for the rental are that you're at least 18 years old and have a driver's license, which I am and I have.
Since we never got any response, we decided to walk there: we knew they would be opened and we met the requirements for rental. After a 35 minute walk, we had to wait 20 minutes before we were helped. The girl at the counter refused to rent the vespa to us since I have no experience, even though this was nowhere specified as a requirement. She treated us like we were children, we were very irritated, because we tried everything to reach them, walked for so long and we're denied acces to any scooter.
We asked to rent e-bikes instead, but apparently there was only one available, even though there were three in the shop.
We had to walk back for 35 minutes. We wasted almost 2 hours and this really ruined our last day in Italy
Just change the requirements on your website and treat your potential clients with dignity.

We rented our Vespa and took off from Siena. The countryside was beautiful and the ride was the highlight of our trip. $50 for 24 hour rental. It is the best way to see Italy.

Siena by Vespa truly made my experience of Siena and Tuscany a fever dream. My friend and I explored the countryside visiting castles and wineries and then would stop in the city for dinner. The staff are so kind and understanding, I have motorcycle experience but they assisted my friend in quickly learning all of the features. The prices are next to none and I would 100% do this again! I would suggest your hotel staff or host help call ahead and make sure they are open. Thank you Siena by Vespa for making my vacation feel like a movie! I attached a photo of the vespas we rode and one of my favorite photos I got while riding.

Is there a vespa tour with lunch available since we would not know the country roads ourselves?

Yes there is. MyTours do one which takes you out into the Chianti region. Bright yellow Vespas and all the safety gear. They do give you a little test before you go to make sure you are ok on the bike. Guide leads the 'pack' around the area. Lunch was superb and the whole day was great. Only downer, MyTours are disorganised, so paitence is required. Beautiful scenery and great fun. If you are in the area you might like to have a look at what Tuscan Escapes have to offer. Highly recommend them. Have a great time
