I have been living In Florence for 23 years, and to experience this beautiful city from the sky was truly breathtaking.
We had a most unique flight ... with palazzo vecchio at our feet and the duomo within arms reach !!!
Guido and The team were incredible and extremely professional. They literally gifted to me and my family a trip we will forever cherish!! 5 stars !!!!!

This morning I took a hot air balloon flight over Florence, a fantastic experience! Flying over the city in a hot air balloon early in the morning makes it even more magical than it is. The pilot, Guido, super nice and available to answer any questions!

I travelled to Tuscany purposely for this flight. And I was not disappointed. Guido our pilot had assured me on booking that this would be an excellent location for a first-timer. I felt safe and comfortable throughout. I am also very happy with the photos and videos taken on the flight. Thanks again Ballon Team and Guido ! I hope to be back !

I'm sure the balloon ride is lovely... If you get to go on it. We woke up at 3:30am and travelled by car for over an hour to the meeting point only to be called 5minutes before we were due to meet, saying that they were cancelling the flight. We asked for the next day but weren't told this was also a no go until 8pm that night, leaving us no time to arrange something else. To top it off once I asked for my money back all contact stopped and I only managed to receive a refund over 2weeks later meaning we were nearly £500 short on our honeymoon with nothing to show for it. Still very upset and disappointed. If its one of the highlights of your trip and you can't afford to lose £500, don't take the risk!

I believe that before writing, one must realize what one is writing. The flight was canceled due to bad weather, security comes first. Those who do not fly receive a refund, it is automatic, no service, no money. But the lady perhaps needed to let off steam, we can't repay a credit card in a few minutes, it takes bureaucratic time. We always propose the alternative day, but only if the weather is good, and we can only evaluate it the night before the flight, to be as safe as possible. You didn't have patience, that's just the problem.
I hope he can fly soon, only then he will understand.

This was an absolutely amazing way to start my day. The setting up and inflating of the balloons and the feeling of weightlessness when taking of just takes your breath away. The morning I went the sunrise was great and there was a bit of haze and mist in the morning that looked great in my pictures. The ride lasted a little over an hour which was just long enough. I got to see two deer and a ton of birds. The morning was super quiet and the swamp we were over was waking up so when everyone in the balloon stopped talking, it sounded like a tape you hear of the forest - tons of birds calling, heard some woodpeckers. Absolutely awesome.
It is super early in the morning, but it is totally worth it. The guys running the balloon are great and they ply you with a mimosa at the end of your balloon ride. Then its back to home base and there is breakfast waiting.
What a magical day we had! I would have to say one of the best days of our lives........don't know...

Our Balloon ride was fantastico! Our pilots Roberto and Francesco were so polite and very handsome. Roberto has been flying balloons for 10 years after a balloon landed in his yard and he helped to put the balloon away. Our driver Frederick picked us up to take us to the balloon, the weather was perfect and we got a special surprise of flying over Florence and then into the Tuscan countryside. I would highly recommended balloon team italia very professional and so polite.
The only concern was if we were to fly or not was delivered too late in the day, but I am sure they just wanted to be sure we would be safe

If you ever wanted to take a hot air balloon ride this is the place to do it!. Starting before dawn the balloon team has everyone arrive early while the balloons are prepared and then you climb into the basket and liftoff to the beautiful Tuscan countryside. We were airborne before sunrise and go to see the sun creep up over the Tuscany hills! As if on cue the roosters on the farms below crowed just as the sun came up! It was so quiet and peaceful in the balloon with only a slight rushing sound of the wind. Our pilot was Guido and he was excellent. He apparently was the Italian representative in the World Balloon championship competition over the Austrian alps previously so we were in good hands! He talked us through everything and made us feel comfortable with the experience. The sparking wine, cheese and meats after landing was a nice touch as well ! Definitely worth getting up up and away!

You pay 250EUR per person for one hour flight, starting very early at 6AM. This gives you rare possibility to see the sunrise above picturesque Tuscan hills. From the booking through helping you reach the spot (20km driving from Florence) the team is very responsive and helpful. Flight itself is very safe offering you much more aesthetic than adrenalin joy. We reached about 2000 feet in hight. You can see remote domes of Florence and numerous wild animals below. We were happy to be accompanied by few more balloons in the air. After landing (nothing stressful) we were hosted with little Tuscan breakfast (local cheese and meat cuts), with sparkling wine. On the way back to the cars we stopped for the coffee in cosy road side bar.

It was our family's first time in a Hot Air Balloon. We were a little nervous at first but once you get up in the sky and look over the Tuscany Region you forget about being nervous! It was breathtaking! The Balloon Team were excellent---after the ride there was a Champagne Breakfast. Great way to start the day in Tuscany!

This is absolutely the thing to do in Tuscany. If you don't have much time but still want to see a lot of Tuscany, then you should definitely do this tour. I've been in Italy for three months and been on over a dozen tours and this was the best one! This small family company is so kind and provides such a great experience, I've already recommended them to my friends and family. I have nothing but amazing things to say about them, hopefully I'll come back again!
