It's another pretty church with an interesting exterior with its large columns in the front. Several sculptures grace the front as well. The architecture is different from many other churches in the area which made it worth seeing for me.

This church is located on a pretty piazza and is just off the main pedestrian street. In a country of so many churches, some spectacular and some plain, this falls into the rather plain category. Nevertheless, the facade is classical and flanked by some impressive...More

Pleasant, ancient church in Piazza Tolomei. Around a five-minute stroll from Piazza del Campo A "secondary sight" but well worth a look if you're passing by.

The exterior entrance to this church with the columns and sculpture make for a very good photo. The fact that this is one of the oldest churches just increases the visit value. No charge to go inside.

This rather understated church is worth a brief visit, if only to get away from the crowds. By no means as ornate as others, it is perhaps better suited for a period of quiet reflection than most.

The church of San Cristoforo is a small building off Via Banchi di Sopra across Palazzo Tolomei. The church is claimed to be the site of a number of important historic events.

Located across from Tolomei Palace, one of the oldest buildings in the city, this small church has its charms. We visited as part of our tour in Siena and the guide told us about this church's significance in Siena's history which was fascinating. What detracted...More

Siena has a fair few churches and they're all beautiful in their own way. This one isn't as ornate from outside as some of the other churches but still beautiful and worth a visit. We didn't go inside but if you have time it maybe...More
