About
I am a qualified private tour guide for Tuscany, official cheese taster and wine expert. I have been taking clients from all over the world around Siena and the surrounding areas of Tuscany including San Gimignano, Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Cortona since 2006. I conduct different types of tours including art tours, wine tours in the Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti and Vino Nobile wine districts: artisans tours, garden tours as well as private wine, olive oil and cheese tastings. I have access to many famous and boutique wineries throughout the region and I thoroughly enjoy the pleasure my guests have in learning about and tasting wines and cheeses. I customize my tours and offers arranging special events (Palio tickets, private luncheons and visits, cooking classes) for different type of clients (individuals, groups, family reunions, families with kids, honeymooners, seniors etc).

We were absolutely delighted with our two tours with Antonella! Both were multi-day wine tours that she hosted for a group we brought from the United States. Although her knowledge of wine and the winery experiences she arranged were beyond my expectations and the expectations of our guests, it was our time engaging with Antonella that was most enjoyable. Her knowledge of the area and its history and her witty, fun personality made our time together most memorable. We, whether hosting future groups in Tuscany or visiting ourselves, will engage Antonella again without question. We, personally, look forward to an art tour in Sienna. I can recommend Antonella without reservation. You will undoubtedly be delighted and reflect on your time with Antonella with the fondest of memories.

When I think of the treasures of Tuscany I think of its history, art, architecture, the beautiful countryside and its fabulous food and wine. After spending 2 1/2 days touring Tuscany with a guide in late August, my wife and I feel compelled to add Antonella Piredda as another Italian treasure. She was aways on time, she has excellent communication skills and total knowledge of Tuscany to include its history, wines, restaurants, places and people. We felt totally comfortable giving her several broad strokes of what we wanted to do in the area and she filled in the blanks exquisitely to give us the best guide experience we have ever had.
Besides her abundant intellect and professionalism, I would like to add a note on her personality. She was a pleasure to be around on a personal basis as well; we hated to see our time with her end!

Antonella was our tour guide during our wonderful Retreat to Tuscany week in Montisi, with our Washington Wine Club. She is delightful, extremely knowledgeable, personable and the organized tours of various Tuscan wineries and villages excellent! I particularly enjoyed her stories of her varied experiences leading groups in Italy.

Antonella was beyond our expectations. She was professional, informative, funny and made our trip to the Tuscany area unforgettable. We learned about the history of the area and were able to see things that we would not have been able to experience without Antonella's expertise. The olive tasting was amazing and the meal we shared was delicious! We would highly recommend her.

Had the most amazing "Retreat to Tuscany" where our group had the pleasure of 3 days of tours guided by Antonella Piredda. She enriched our trips to Montepulciano, Siena, and Val D'Orcia more that I can express in words. She was knowledgeable, friendly and just plain fun to be with. What a privilege it was to be in her company and learn so much about Tuscany!

Antonella was awesome. She was witty, knowledgeable, respectfully opinionated and easy to communicate with. My wife and I had the a most wonderful time touring Siena for half a day and the following day we exploring the beautiful countryside, hilltop towns and villages in southern Tuscany. We would highly recommend having her as your guide. Cannot wait to go back and explore more of the region again with Antonella. Thank you 🙏

I own a travel business coordinating all-inclusive weeks to Tuscany and Sicily. Antonella is my absolute go to tour guide in Tuscany!!! She is a wealth of information, and makes history interesting to those that don't say they love it. Not only does she do guided tours, she is also an olive oil, wine AND cheese sommelier. Antonella brings a passion like no other. I haven't had a group yet that didn't say Antonella was their highlight of their week. Thank you, Antonella over and over!

Antonella helped us plan and guided us when we visited Florence and Tuscany. She was very transparent with her planning and timely with her responses. She arranged for a driver to pick us up at our villa each day and drive us to Sienna and Tuscany. Sienna was the highlight of our trip! We also did wine tasting in Tuscany as her as our guide. She planned the vineyards and even lunch at fabulous restaurants. From start to finish she was informative, kind and felt like family. Her help, and knowledge made the trip for my husband and me!

We were thrilled with our time with Antonella in Siena. As a family of four, including our two adult daughters, we found Antonella to be simply exceptional - wonderfully engaging, accommodating, and superbly informative. She adapted easily to our interests and backgrounds, and shared with us many intriguing and fun anecdotes that gave us insights into life in Siena from a locals perspective. On somewhat short notice, she arranged a delightful drive for us through the Tuscany region along with a tour, wine tasting, and lunch at a picturesque Tuscan winery. We also reached out to Antonella for advice in planning other parts of our itinerary to Italy and she was always quick to respond with great suggestions. Antonella has our highest recommendation.
