This was a perfect day trip from Florence to the Tuscan countryside. Experiencing the two towns, Montalcino and Montepulciano was very enjoyable. They are both charming. But our excellent guide, Morad, taking us to Innocenti Vineyards for wine tasting and lunch was the best. The Brunello was fantastic, and the homemade pasta was the best we've had in Italy. This tour which gave us such a good overview of Tuscany and allowed us to see some spectacular scenery is highly recommended! Morad was outstanding!

We had the most unbelievable day with Morad in the Tuscan hills. We ended up bring the only people so had a private tour in air conditioned comfort for the day. Morad is the nicest person, an excellent communicator and incredible knowledge of the region and history. Guides in Italy have to study for 5 years so it is a highly respected profession. Our first stop was the quaint town of Montalcino where we enjoyed some free time before being driven to Innocenti winery in the hills. There, the sommelier Margarita was superb in showing us the cellar and explaining the process of making a Brunello wine, voted 2nd best in the world. We had 4 wines (each explained by Margarita) with matching food, which was all absolutely beautiful and hand made by their resident cook. Special mention to the tagliatelle with ox ragù- best ever. The Brunello is really something; as Morad says, it will be difficult to go bank to normal wine now! Needless to say we purchased some wine which Margarita arranged to ship home for us. The view from the cellar door is beautiful.
Next we drove to Montepulciano for another tasting, this time of the nobile wine, paired with pecorino cheese. On the way Morad stopped outside the gladiator house so we could grab some photos. The cheese is delicious and we purchased some of the yummy wine to take with us. We had time to wander around Montepulciano and enjoy the scenery from the piazza.
Morad drive us home and the time flew by due to his easy nature and interesting facts about the region. We also stopped for another panoramic view.
I cannot recommend this amazing tour more highly. It has been absolutely the best day of our whole trip.

Our tour with Morad was an absolute highlight of our 16-day trip across Italy. The day was impeccably planned, including a vineyard that we wanted to add to the original itinerary. Morad was so wonderful and knowledgable, guiding our day masterfully. In the planning process, I also found Morad to be the most responsive of the other companies I was talking to with incredibly reasonable pricing. We did a tour for my 30th birthday, and the day could not have been more perfect. We're so grateful! Could not recommend Moro Tuscany Travel more.

This tour was a fantastic way to get to know Siena and enjoy some great for. Morad, our tour guide, had great English and an extensive knowledge of the city. We were particularly impressed with his ability to remember all of our names (we were a group of 7 traveling together). The gelato was some of the best we had in Italy, and the stop at the end of the tour brought us to a very local place with the kindest owners and really great Tuscan food. We would absolutely recommend.

Having had such a brilliant half day wine tasting excursion from Siena with Morad for my wife’s birthday, we immediately booked a longer tour to see more of Tuscany. Morad took us around so many of the beautiful towns and sights of Tuscany that we really feel we have had an authentic experience of Italy. Over the two days we saw three very different vineyards, both special in their own ways, and we learnt so much about how wine is produced and appreciated that we will never look at it (or buy it!) in the same way again. Tasting the wine and sampling the cuisine was lovely and the highlight of our trip. Morad was the perfect guide - not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about Tuscany, Siena and Italy in general, he was also incredibly personable and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and the time flew by. Having a guide allowed us to see the best places Tuscany has to offer and to get there easily - something not always straightforward without your own transport. We plan to return to Italy again and will be back in touch with Morad to explore further afield!

I wasn't even sold on Pisa, it was my husband's wish and I reluctantly set about searching for a tour. This tour turned out to be so great!! We had sucky weather and were completely drenched. But it was probably one of the best tours ever. We enjoyed a lot! Morad is a very knowledgeable guide. He is the one who also drove us and we always felt safe in his car. What we loved about Morad is that he's very earnest and he wants you to enjoy every bit of the tour. He's not rattling off facts, he's sharing his country's history and it's beauty - both natural and man-made.
We loved our time with Morad. Throughout the trip, we did not feel rushed at all. Pisa is magnificent and it's more than the tower. The road is lovely too.
During Covid times, it was very important for us to feel safe. Morad always wore a mask and was very mindful of our preference to socially distance and avoid crowds. His car also has a hand sanitizer. We really appreciated these. I would highly recommend this tour and Morad.

Excellent tour. Morad is very knowledgeable and eager to share his love of history. The private tour was fantastic. We were given time to explore the cathedral, take more pictures of the tower, and then explore the small city on our own.
We would definitely use him again in the future for upcoming trips into Tuscany.

On of the best walking tours we’ve ever experienced! The guide was so knowledgeable and informative that he brought something special to every corner of Siena. He answered our (many!) questions, and give a real sense of what life was like in the city in the past and in the present. The food and wine at the end were fantastic! Highly recommend.

Hi, the food tours look amazing but include lots of meat, if you are vegetarian would you recommend the tour? Would there be plenty of other things to try? Thank you :)
